Yep! That is what they do I hear..though they likely will replace it....(then again I believe in the BTC fairy) All warranties exclude physical damage. You need to chase the issue with the carrier. or atleast contact Bitmain outside of warranty claim to see if they can help you. But damn, that thing literally looks like it was run over.
oops...spoke too soon...if the above guy is correct...damn..they are gonna pass the buck on this big time shipping company NOPE! hosting company NOPE! Bitmain: it left a virgin....we won't take it back NOPE! rinse/wash/repeat |

Just a bit of warning, never use UPS. I worked with them as an exporter and they are really unethical. I had a DR3 miner stolen by a UPS employee back in April, they never took responsibility and I will be suing them. I ordered 2 ATMs from General Bytes, they mixed them up and delivered mine to my competitor and theirs to me. I paid to have them swapped by movers because I knew UPS would not take action. General Bytes has to fly a technician to Amsterdam to fix my machines due to rough handling as well. UPS is a bad company, avoid at all costs.

I can probably speak for you as well, but I know I did a LOT of research before getting involved in this. These cats buy the machines and wait until they are delivered before checking ANYTHING! Here's a great example; This was posted in the PROHASHING Forum, « Thu 9:13 am »
Please guys I am new mining in prohasing, I have connect my S9 on but worker indicator still go off and on. I could be assure that my s9 is mining correctly, any indication?Well, for those that don't know.....Prohashing does not mine SHA 256. SMH!!! |

I paid USD 42.72 per each D3 in New York, USA Looks like it's much cheaper than in Europe. I had a couple of miners delivered by UPS and they required me to pay with a check for the duties and taxes, however what I found out on all of my later shipments was if I picked the Miners and power supplies up from the UPS facility I was not charged at all - They just gave me the package, had me sign and I walked out without needing to pay at all. It has worked out for my last 10 shipments. A quick 15-minute drive to save 100s of dollars on duties and taxes! |

Exactly!! I bet he ran that bitch over his own self!!! LMAO!! This is just one damaged unit from eight D3s which arrived. Seven units are in good condition, and are already working, with quite high hashrate:). Unfortunately I did not receive the miners by myself, in which case I would definetely checked the packages. It was a hosting company where they arrived, and who says me to raise a ticket. And they did not make a remark on the forwarder's papers when receiving.  It might be also that a worker there dropped the box, who knows... So it seems to better apply to BM as to a broken board, and send the whole unit. Thanks everyone for compassion !
