Looking for the equivalent in x11 coin of if  BTC=DASH then LTC=??? x11 coin

So ANY x11 coins folk would recommend with their devs having their sh*t together and trying in some manner for the 2nd slot like BTC to LTC?

Whatever you mine right now, it will be for zero profit. so you could spend $60-$100 a month on electricity, or just buy $60-$100 of your favorite X11 coin. you'll get the same amount ether way.

yeah that MAY work for the next month...even if you mine for a loss in that month...SUPPOSEDLY if the price of DASH ever went back up..you'd hit a price that the month

...as you say..would be even...electric for DASH...eventually ...if you stop'd after this next month..

after this next month ..even with that optimistic 'waiting for DASH to go up hope' ..it will likely not be worth the risk for the month after...so, even the most OPTIMISTIC

viewpoint on all this....you'd pretty much have to, IMHO, shut the D3 off and treat them as doorstops by May 1st 2018....with the current trends...with the above ego protection mode...

I do have an 'explanation' on how/why I got the D3 units...I NEVER say I lost money on the D3 miners...instead I say I broke even on x11 mining...which is true...

IF I count the Baikal cube 300mh I got May 15th 2017 or so.....yep, dead even more or less broke even with electric....on DASH x11 mining with this 'ego cheat'..

the things I will say to protect my ego....so as a presentation...I lost my a*s on the D3's but I broke even on x11 miners...both are true...

Yes.....and again and again. Bitmain is sending a clear signal that they are clearing their inventory in preparation for release of new technology. The legacy units are now only useful to those with huge scale and minimum electricity costs.

I see why not.. basically you are getting 0.01398240 BTC monhtly for the price of 127 USD.. so you are paying extra 32 USD for owning that D3...

Sorry ....see further up in the thread ...Helium is NOT going to be an X22 coin...I think they voted for PIVX format (not sure) so will be a POS coin...if I understand correctly

I agree with Searing on this one.  I shut mine down at my hosting location.  Will take a little time to decide if I pay to have them shipped back, try to sell it, or what to do with them.

Sadly the D3 and these X11 miners before they ever shipped I was pessimistic about returns and even gave a prediction what they would be earning by the time they shipped and it turned out my pretty negative view was quite optimistic!  

X11 mining has turned into a giant sink hole.  Maybe if enough people shut down diff will come back into line where people can at least mine sideways for coin at cost.  Right now unless you have dirt cheap electricity the D3's are costing you money every month.

Bitmain should just pull the D3's from the site and sit on them until the market corrects and then learn some lessons about what they did... They hold the keys to balancing supply and demand when it comes to miners.  They use their "super power" very poorly.

Naw I'm gonna ship or get all my ASIC's back....and store them in cabinets...I'm just ODD that way...

I see why not.. basically you are getting 0.01398240 BTC monhtly for the price of 127 USD.. so you are paying extra 32 USD for owning that D3...

Yep if you want BTC from it you may as well buy .018btc for your $127 instead of mining and only getting .013btc

I continue to run my D3, but only to speculate on future coins price, not current. for example if you mine dash assuming a future price of $1000. Then .009DASH/day=$9

Or you can mine some coins that are not well known yet, and my explode in the future. Like Xaru, RBC, XNG, etc... worth little today, but harder to obtain. With few people mining them you can accumulate a lot of coins fast. some master node coins will explode again when the market turns.

311 USD now    If you add $105 PSU, plus shipping cost, you woud end with above $600.  With current earnings of $20 per month one would need 3 years(!) to return the investment.
