Okay, imagine that bitcoin is steadily appreciating and because of that you realize that you can always feed yourself purely with bitcoin profits. Almost like gaining cornucopia. What would you do?

I would pig out. I would eat a lot, then a bit more, then a little more, and then, you get the point.

Where is the infinite food coming from?
Is it only me or can I gift food to others?
What kind of food is it?

My name was simply a play on "Blue Engineer" from Team Fortress. I am not affiliated with Microsoft or the Azure project.

Food has become less and less a main budgetary concern for most people as opposed to years past. Your whole day sort of centered around getting, preparing, eating your meals. If you look at needing to take the wheat and grind it then bake it in the wood stove, etc.
Now food eaten is less a necessity as an experience. We want variety, taste, health, atmosphere, etc.
If I could have whatever food I desired based upon the increase in bitcoin's value I would still continue working to accumulate bitcoin because I have goals and ambitions beyond just sitting around eating.

I don't think he actually meant infinite, just that you, personally, never had to worry about food again.

If the only infinite thing we would get out of this is food, then I would buy a wood gassification generator, feed it chips, tortillas, and other dry food, and use that energy to power bitcoin miners.

Yeah, but it would make like a whole lot less stressful. Rent/mortgage is still the biggest cost in most people's homes, but Food is pretty important. What the OP basically boils down to is What would you do with an average ~ $600* more each month? *2012 US stats. YMMV.

I could live for about 20 years on my Bitcoin and retirement investments. More if Bitcoin keeps growing. But it wouldn't be much of a life. Yes, there's no stress about starving on the street, but there is stress about failing in my projects, not seeing the places I want, not accomplishing my goals, failing my family, etc. After that, there are wants regarding being able to accomplish certain things, and reaching certain ... I guess you would call them status levels and ways of life. So, food is nice, but there's always a need for more money.
So, honest answer? Food takes up a small fraction of the rest of the stuff I need to spend money on. Free food would barely even help (I need $20MM dollars. Anyone? Anyone?)

Why worry about food?
In the west, its practically impossible to die of hunger - of course, you can still be homeless, but is that a different question?

Local postapocaliptic interdimensional vat grown FEMA nutrient packet distribution sites located underneath walmart. Your food is Quantum-DNA cryptologically encoded to feed only you, and only after purchase. Hyperfood units made from lasers transmitted via fiberoptics.
