So apparently someone hijacked my original account, I haven't used this forum in about 3 years and I found some posts made in october 2016 from someone that stole my account and also added marketing to my signature.

The username is ymer, can an admin or mod please help me recover my account?

How long does it usually take?  Is there no automated system? It has been over a week and no response Sad

I followed the instructions. I sent a signed message from an address that was associated with my account.

There is no automated process and has to be done manually.  It can take some time so you'll need some patience but you can keep bumping this thread every day in the meantime.

It's unfortunally normal to wait that long. I already saw people saying they are waiting for over 2 months for a answer.
The only thing you can do is wait for Theymos to look at your PM and reset your account password.

He is the only one who can help you.
