I'm curious as to whether there is any demand for baseball cards within the bitcoin community.

Specifically rookies and prospects from the last 3-4 years to current - rare (serial #'d) and autos.  Trout, Harper, Taveras, Dahl, Profar, Stanton, Buxton, Correa, and the list goes on.

If there people who are interested in buying, I'm open to ideas about how to proceed with transactions.  I have over 1200 feedbacks on EBAY over the last 12 months - 100% positive reputation.  I could post specific cards to Ebay to prove I am who I say I am.  Whatever it takes.  I'm also willing to build a website (as I am a web developer), to showcase my cards with high rez pictures - with bitcoin payment option (as I've just been approved for bitpay.)

I'm looking to take out 2 birds with one stone here.  One - acquire bitcoin.  Two - not pay ebay/paypal fees.

Again, I'm open to discussion.

Hm, maybe I should get back into sports cards...used to collect those, buying hobby boxes and such. The whole guaranteed 4 autos of GUs haha, whats the best product right now? Is that Treasures product from Donruss/Panini still around?

For Baseball, the best product is Bowman Chrome.  Most popular, most liquid and great depth of prospects/rookies.  There some high end releases - Tribute, Triple Threads and Five Star by Topps.  And Panini/Treasures had an amazing release a couple months back - but they're still printing without license, so no logos, no team names, etc.  But the players are on board with Panini, just waiting for MLB to sign off.  When they do get licensed, they will take over as THE best release of the year.

I was out of the hobby for 15 years and just got back into it last year.  Harper and Trout got me interested again, and EBAY levels the playing field between buyers and sellers.  Much better environment than what it was 15+ years ago.

If you're game, let me know what you're interested in, we can pick up dialogue.  Just pm me.

Escrow, for around 1%, seems like a no-brainer.
