I just started and bought some cryptocurrency. I wonder why BTC should be chosen above other cc's as XRP of ETH. Is is better to spread my 'real' money over few cc's or should i buy BTC only?

We should thinks that bitcoin is the no.1coins now in the platforms of digital currency.when you ranked up the value of coins in the market those XRP or ETH only  second  to the next of bitcoins.but its better you invest these three coins  because  its one of us have a different value and different earning and if you grab  this three coins your so lucky in terms of investment trading.

I personally will choose bitcoin than options that you've just mentioned above since it's a original and i think more decentralized, diversify your investment is a good idea though especially buy coins which has a good future, i mean like don't put all of your eggs in one basket it would be better if you invest in several coins instead of just one so that if you loose you still have profit in other coins just my thought.

Bitcoin simply has better news coverage because it's bigger and more used so the price will continue to go up just because of these factors whilst alt coins struggle to get any coverage at all.

I am pro diversification but I also notice that all other coins so far have failed to get the market share from the cryptos that only bitcoin so far has. I am not talking about marketcoincap website but the actual usage of the coins. You can buy bitcoin only and this would be a very good choice. You can also choose to buy except bitcoin , ethereum and monero which are the most well known coins after bitcoin.

for sure by doing this your investment will be safe, what is better to do is do more research and find coins that have a good progress, splitting is really
good in looking for more possibilities that will bring a good earnings, just think of your investment as  a long term business don't stop learning crypto's

Well for me it is better for you to condense your investment.
15% on BTC
10% in Eth
5% XRP
And the remaining 70% is for the other coins that has potential. I am selling this news, ADX price will moon before the end of this year. So don't hesitate in buying adex. Same goes with other alternative coins. They will moon this november. Much better guys if you buy before November 2. Alts party after that.

If you don't know what coin to chose for your investment better not to invest at all. Don't read speculations etc because they are mostly bullshit. It's best to do your own research and invest in what you think will succeed. BTC should always be your number one investment, and you invest small portions of money into other coins.

As others have said you should diversify your investment. I have 60% of my investment in bitcoins 20% in Ethereum and 20% in other altcoins. If I earn any profit from altcoins I buy more bitcoins with it. Investment only in bitcoins can be considered as good and safe investment while altcoin market is highly risky. You should choose your coins wisely with some research avoid listening to others.

Just buy bitcoin. It goes up fastest and drops down slowest. I wish I'd sold my altcoins for bitcoin before bitcoin's current rise.
