ETHEREUM  can never come near to BITCOIN in terms of price and volume.

It's not likely to pass bitcoin in individual coin price, but I'm confident that it will pass in marketcap. Whether that means anything or not, who knows, but it will generate a lot of mainstream publicity.

Any investment can be a mistake or spot on, even with all the good/bad hints. The thing is I do think ETH is going to surge, why? Big network effect, lots of individual miners, among the best cryptos to mine, nice tech behind it, intelligent leader and researchers, etc.

About the lag in the network caused by ICOs, what I think is that this should not be a reason to get scared and sell eth. There was/is a HUGE load of transactions during ICOs, literally billions of tokens moving around, so it is expected that some beforehand unknown problems might appear. Ethereum competitors were never tested like this because they are not even fully working  .

I think so too, the ethereum market is also much bigger than just ETH there are so many tokens traded and the combined value of the ethereum network is already more than bitcoins.

I think you can still buy ETH and accumulate if you are into investing to a ICO that accepts it. Otherwise there no need to accumulate more as the price is constantly going down. I would rather see bitcoin price fluctuates rather than ETH because its gonna be hard for it to recover. A few months ago it reaches ATH but then suddenly drops and nowhere the price get close to it again. Maybe in long term ETH is a good investment, but I would rather stick to bitcoin now and see how it goes.

Possibilities for long term profits is really always there but we should not really think of these things most of the time. For me i dont really prefer on holding too long on my coins better to buy and sell on short span of time and enjoy profits in a short period of time too. ETH is good but on these days specially theres an Issue about parity wallet hacked price will really be affected which buying on this point isnt ideal but well if you do really love to buy then buy on your own risk.

Bitcoin is having trouble with 'BIP' and 'Segwit'. The second store of value in cryptos is Ethereum. So, if anything bad happens to Bitcoin, Ethereum will not suffer as much. I believe in Ethereum at least until 2025. Then I will have to know more about what will have been going the next years.

Etherum never has been hacked bitcoin the same,but huge amount of btc was stolen in the past,Individul wallets,mt.gox poloniex,mintpal,cryptsy,now biggest eth stealing are ico's,expect more that kind of stealing

That depends on the greedy person. I mean the flippers. because those trying to flip their money just want to get the more or double its money through shit project and used the early pump of the coin. I mean you can try to see a lot of the shit gets unreasonable pump in the past. It looks pretty bad.

Its better to buy more ethereum now because i believe the price of ethereum before end of this year 2017 will become 1000 dollars. So hurry up if you have extra bitcoins in your wallet better to buy more ethereum and for sure after few months of holding you can earn a lot of profit in the future. Agreed. It may already be #2 in marketcap, but ETH has huge potential for further growth. Not so long ago it was $10. I know the price has fallen recently, but it's surely heading up again once the bitcoin issues are settled.
