Exactly if you really knew about cryptos from early on, it wouldn't have changed much. Because we wouldn't have known the future. So the best days are the current days. There are still lot of cheap cryptos, which can be equivalent to Bitcoin one day. It's all about making the right decision.

I regret selling after mtgox and chinese ban panic.  I think everyone regrets not buying at begining or selling too early, it was an easy way to become millionary.

I discovered bitcoin when it was about $5 per coin and during that time for several reasons I could not buy it. I discovered eth and xmr when they were around $10 per coin and I could not find a good place to buy them. I discovered netko when it was about $0.05 and I could not get the wallet compiled. I probably had around 40 bitcoins and cashed them all out under $800 and I could name more.

You?

My worst regrets are, first the fact that I did not engage in cryptocurrencies before, If I just can turn back the time and go all in to bitcoins and all the other cryptos as soon as possible. If that happens, will be much richer than today, and I won't  be able to problemize about the financial situation. And the second regret is the fact that I already sell my altcoins with just a lower price. If I just hold them for a long time and wait for the another pump, I will have more profit than I have that day.

Same as your story I have to many free coins coming from signature bounty, but I am a neophyte and just want quick profit and when I looked back those coins are worth a fortune now I also invest coins like Bitcoinnectcoin but dump half of it when it hit $50 now it's over $135..

Never waste your time to regret , we have too many chances to earn money ahead of us. You have missed btc and eth , you should catch the next chance to get the second BTC and ETH .

Right now it's watching ATK when it was 0.44 cents and not buying it because it wasn't on the exchange I wanted to use.  I bought LISK instead so it's not the worst regret but still one nonetheless.

1. Not learning about cryptocurrency until a few weeks ago, when most prices were super high and you get the feeling you are too late to join.
2. Purchasing cryptocurrency from a member after missing an ICO I was interested in, and never receiving the currency purchased (newbie mistake).

When I first heard of bitcoin, it was around $200. At the time, I thought that is very expensive. I came to know there were other currencies like bitcoin and wanted to buy some. When i checked i saw like 100 coins and thought these are all fakes and copycats and will not go anywhere. The price of LITECOIN at the time was less than $1. I wish I had bought 5k worth of LTC. At the time I was investing in stocks and options and risking 5K on LTC would not have been a big deal.

In my early days I spent some coins on ridiculous online things.
I really would not do that anymore.
It somehow still hurts when I see the amounts I gave away that time and compare them to what they would be worth today.
I guess everybody would do some things differently if he knew years ago how bitcoin has developed.

  It's me!!!

Investing in a lot of money in a lot of altcoins and now what you swe in your portfolio is a low price altcoins and is all color red and your main capital was already in half what will you feel watching your money going down everyday i should just cash it all out and i guess it having a bad time pumping again.

i honestly am not wondering about this,

live is fair, those that had luck with some coins like ethereum and bitcoin had only luck because of accident not because they were skilled, they then gambled their winings away, to fill their neverending greed, an education is always useful not only pure luck

regards

My biggest regrets in cryptos is that I didn't come to know about it when the price was too low either in bitcoins or other altcoins and when I started my journey with it the price was already high so couldn't invest higher capital in it but if I would have to come about it before few years then with the same capital I would be holding higher volume of cryptos in my wallet.

Very good thread, really interesting to read all those regrets.

For me it is not buying bitcoin when it was at 800usd. I decided against it and just left crypto for later.
Than a guy gave me a hint about ethereum when it was still 10usd. I was eager, but left too much time pass until I finally had the money ready and also missed that. Got finally in when it was around 50.

My biggest regret is I didn't invest in Bitcoin when it was $800. My friend introduce it to me and I just ignored him the fact that I know he is a trusted friend. Until know I feel sad that I've missed the great opportunity that will change my life forever. That is why, when another friend of mine told me about Bitcoin. I do not hesitate to grab the opportunity. And now I am here. Smiley

in 2009 I wanted to buy them as they were on the news (a digital coin was released), then I checked the website and found it too complex to buy it without having a creditcard so backed off. LOL

No regrets. What is done is done. We need to move on and learn from it. I did some wrong moves especially after the ghost month which I thought alts will start to recover and I continue to hold despite suffering heavy losses. Maybe I could've spend most of my salary savings into Bitcoin when I started investing.
