Since BIP91 is activated, is BIP148 still activating?

I mean we already got our segwit activated, this means UASF of BIP148 is no longer needed?

Or that will be BIP148 regardless if BIP91 pass and soon we will have price resistance due to BIP148 again?

I think this is the reason for the price coming back up over the last 2 days now. People are aware there's not going to be a hard fork, so they're more confident in investing. The price was dropping by the day as we got closer to that Aug. 1st deadline, but then just started going back up pretty quickly after they announced no fork.

i was very sure about this could be happened and big whales ate the cheap bitcoin .
and it will be stable and segwit will get ride on August 1st . but might be next wave start by Saturday night and it will be dumping again !!

I'm assuming he means the usual weekend dip. Sheep start selling off on Friday and by Saturday/sunday most coins are red. Don't expect the deeply discounted sales of last weekend, but things might be cheaper than current since everything for the most part is pumping today.

This won't be happening as soon as we want. It still needs to take some time. Maybe, after the official announcements, if BIP91 will now be adopted, we are a step closer to 10,000 USD in this mile-long journey.

IT is possible, but wouldn't be that fast as what he said. Since BIP91 is adopted, after 2 weeks when segwit is activated, we can expect it break the $3,000 resistance

If i understand correctly from coindesks flow chart segwit was going to be activated either way from BIP 91 or USAF BIP 148 but signaling stands in at 94.4 % for BIP 91 but is the support proposal over for us to know whether it's the 2mb block increase or bitcoin split coming up...or we have to wait till november

SECONDLY, does  USAF BIP 148(soft fork only) still activate considering it will contradict with whats expected from BIP 91 and its already over 50%

There will no doubt be a small dump around the 30th of July, more due to those not as clued up deciding to play it safe and convert to fiat, before converting back the following week once they see its stable.
