Many predict this week will go down, everyone is free to do the analysis so as to confuse to make a decision. Better to wait all back to normal.

Yes many speculation on the bitcoin price though experience of downtrend and now currently recovering. So, I think it will increase this year. Thats what I think though.

Hard forks do not happen, negative issues just make the situation not conducive. I feel the loss has taken this issue. Should be more relaxed to respond to issues.
Valuable experience so as not to panic.

i i think no one can be so much sure about the price of bitcoin, but everyone is giving their own view about bitcoin price. to me i also think that the price of bitcoin is going to increase more and more and hope that very soon it will reach to a new all time high price. i think some people are waiting for the 1st August and after 1st August they will start buying bitcoin again ans hope that it will also boost the price of bitcoin.

Bitcoin is scheduled to grow, there's definitely room for it and sentiment driving investment which will assist this.

My view is bitcoin will grow this year and continue be will. As this will attract more investors and users, yes its nature is volatile so definitely for sure it will grow. You are right, just invest on what you can afford to do so.

But there is really that problem we could face on August 1. The problem is that there could possibly be forks and new issues and fears about the future of bitcoins.
Because this could prevent people from investing or holding it. Possible price drops could occur after august 1.

Of course, it may split, but at the same time exchanges such as coin base have already decided that they will not support BCC. If this is the case, surely the support for BTC should still remain favorable and as such there is unlikely to be any deviation in the current growth rates, at least not in the longer terms (1-2 years).

Bitcoin has managed to captivate a much larger audience of investors rather than the current users of the coin itself. Most of these people will likely hold through the August fork if this does happen, but realistically with easily accessible exchanges (readily able to accept fiat currencies for BTC) not supporting BCC, it's unlikely that this will take off.

Just my opinion though, but I really do think Bitcoin will proceed growing through the fork, or without it.

Sorry but that is impossible, the reason the markets are impossible to predict is because there is no way to predict what a single person is going to do as an individual, when you have a mass of individuals then it is even more difficult to predict what it is going to happen.

Whatever it will be happening to bitcoin prices around August 1, it will settle down with a week and we can see prices will be testing $5000 levels by end of August. Because once scalability issue will get solved, we can see more investments coming into bitcoins. Hence bitcoin prices may resume its rally.

I am sure there will not be any big hurdles due to August 1. Everything will go smooth as there will be no threat of chain split. Then obviously we can expect more investors to join the party!

Many people want to believe in it. But no one knows exactly what is happening in the network and what are the agreements between the ministers. I see that the rate fluctuates very much and it makes me a little sad. The split problem must be solved in order for the network to become stable again

That's not impossible mate if we wont dump and dump our assets, we needed to be positive enough in holding our bitcoins whether grow or lesser fluctuation may happen. I myself love bitcoin but if no other optional ways to gain lot's of opportunity just to earn good profitable income online, but it's not that stressful with bitcoin for now because the appreciation will just focused on bitcoin as final stage of exchanging altcoins trading by the time you are engaged at trading sites.

Dump bitcoin cash and buy more bitcoin, then the alt dies and the price of bitcoin rises. $3000 as suggested shouldn't be a problem.

I think bitcoin will lose some value due to bcc but bcc is the one that is going to be dumped almost immediately, and then we ill get a price increase in bitcoin, I think bcc is nothing more than a speculative coin created by the miners to try to earn a quick buck.

Nothing is certain but as you say bitcoin will probably increase, I see segwit as something that will give confidence and move us beyond all the drama we have seen in the short term.

In any case the long term prospects of bitcoin have improved quite a bit.

Probably we may not know exactly, but we can predict what is going to happen and how it will be. As per consensus till today, only soft fork is going to happen which means we are not thin threat of chain split. So, we can expect prices to continue its rally toward new ATH too.

We are not sure what first of August or this week has for us because its a make or break period for us and all we can do is speculate about the outcome and arguably bitcoin is scheduled to grow under whatsoever circumstances...my only concern will be how a chain split will affect us should the split protocols be activated.

The price at the moment seems stable, nothing much has happened, but I think that as soon the altcoin BCH disappears then we are going to see bitcoin to slowly grow in value, also I think this hard fork is going to alert the miners that they cannot do whatever they want with the network, they need the support of the people as well.
