Your logic betrays itself.  BitMain wants thousands of shitcoins.  They make miners.  So saying only BCH and BitMain in same sentence has the problem.
You got me.
Bitman is a giant in crypto generally, and in mining industry particularly.
They want more miners to sell their mining rigs.

Their utmost objectives are profits for Bitman coporation, nothing more than that.

FYI the crypto mining industry is bitcoin.  Just like there is one internet.  The rest is people selling testnet tokens in various scams that fail to scale.  Sure BitMain will make you an ASIC for your testnet coin lol.  Too bad the testnet coin scammers  are not testing anything new or innovative other than the depths of peoples gullibility and bad faith.

I remember BCH hitting the ATH just like it was yesterday.

For those that don't remember, it got listed on Coinbase and they were waiting for the liquidity to increase before they enabled trading, and due to some bots the price went crazy and hit like $4000 USD or so, and the other exchanges followed. And later what happened was they had to halt trading due to irregular pricing. They finally allowed trading a few days later but price never broke the ATH.

Why don't people have fur, but animals have? Because people began to produce, use, sell and buy clothes and houses without need, and now without homes and clothing cannot be. Also Bitmain created a BCH and asics without the need thereby it create future need in the BCH and in asics

Interesting. Had not previously run across this Dr Roy Murphy. Is he pervasive? Is he truthful?

Anyone with a campaign ad in their signature -- for an organization with which they are not otherwise affiliated -- is automatically deducted credibility points.

I think his reputation has the previous blemish since he was promoting the bitconnect scam.  Proceed with extre-e-eme caution on that one if at all IMO.

I didn't follow the bitconnect scam, as it was clear from the outset that it was a scam.

If Murphy's claim is to be believed, some 17 posts he made out of hundreds even mentioned bitconnect, and those were skeptical. IOW, that he did not promote it. Is he lying about this?

Bitmain is Set to Layoff BCash Developers to Get Rid of Fluff

1-week notice
Signs aren't looking too positive for the Chinese mining giant before it is set to go public on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.

This time around, Bitmain is reportedly laying off up to 50 employees starting this week. The reason: redundancies.

Allegedly most of the targeted employees are part of the Copernicus team that works on BCash operations.

It could get worse
It might not stop at 50 employees either according to a report from Primitive founding partner Dovey Wan.

If the report is true, the layoffs could target up to 50% of Bitmain’s 2,500 headcount - a massive shakeup for the business looking to IPO.

For now, Bitmain has yet to comment on the matter but according to Dovey Wan, reports like that are ”usually very high accuracy, posted by employees themselves.”
Bcash sugardaddy imploding - the days of bitmain pimping bcash are coming to an end - Bcash bag holders be very afraid.

Sorry, but it looks like Bitmain may be a going down, like the Titanic. 50% of workforce fired.

Pretty sure this means their IPO is deader than dead. Though Ebang seems to be going thru with their IPO.

Well, even for ASIC makers and big players like Bitmain...sh*t just got real!

I am not surprised by the lay-offs. Basically many Crypto companies right now are either going bankrupt or having to lay-off a large number of employees, this shouldn't be a big surprise.

Most likely they got less demand for their miners and don't need many of their employees anymore. If the bitcoin mining business improves in the near future then they will re-hire all those people.

This kind of sudden drop indicating this is very dangerous coin to buy at any stage and if it will go down again under $100 than it is good but rumors from Bitmain looking could b ring big crash in coming days.

BCH is very dependent on the position of the company. If it is bad, then the BCH price falls stronger than others, and if it is good, then the price grows stronger than others. The company is experienced, survived 2015, so knows what to do, I think we have nothing to worry about

This time situation is totally different as compare with 2015 than BCH was not exist and they were support the original coin. Now they are promoting fake coin and trying to scam the people and that is why there in trouble.

No need to fight with bitcoin and try to replace it, BCH is a great currency of Bitmain, analogue of its shares, even better. I think just need to change the name of the coin, like "Bitmain Coin Holder"

The government does not ban bitcoin and BCH because it is a good buyer of electricity. The world is ruled not by the President, not by the government, not by banks, but by energy companies. The threat to them is always eliminated at the root and by any means. If bitcoin is a threat to banks, that banks will be eliminated, not bitcoin.

I’m really not into BCH or BSV but I really think bitmain wants BCH to succeed and be a good coin.

The fork is doing incredible collateral damages to the entire industry.

It doesn't now but after the BCH fork last year, there were periods where there was some form of correlation.

What happened was when BTC had a bearish day, BCH had a bullish day. This was evident when the BTC difficulty was high while the miners switched to mine BCH since it was profitable.

Right now I am seeing the opposite. When BTC had a bullish day then BCH usually follows and vice versa. Because there were days recently when ETH was bullish and both BTC/BCH were bearish or neutral and the same was true in vice versa.
