1.  G.Maxwell no matter what you think of his weight , is a proven Liar
2.  Any company (Banking Cartels thru AXA) that own blockstream can force a patent suit and destroy any other coin that uses segshit.

Patents are not cheap , G.Maxwell claiming it will never be used, well you are a fool if you believe him.
So the bitcoin gold users expect a lawsuit to cease and desist in ~2 years.  Wink

Used Segshit and risk being devastated in a legal battle or just let any exchange do your offchain processing with none of LN/segshit restrictions or limitations.

Bitcoin Cash can use exchanges to process their offchain transactions faster & cheaper & without segshit.

╥Aztek

Anyone is fee to use segwit code the same as anyone is fee to use the bitcoin code

A LN fund cannot be seized easily and if it could it's anonymous to an extent a LN node has no idea where the money is going or coming from just its last/next hop but has no idea is the last/next hop was the start or endpoint

And you think using a exchange is more secure a central place somewhere that has to do NYC verification's and know's exactly who it belongs to what bitcoin address address  and home address with everything traceable on chain yea right now you're dreaming

LN /Segwit is designed to allow confiscation of the Funds.
https://falkvinge.net/2017/05/01/blockstream-patents-segwit-makes-pieces-fall-place/

Exchanges will not require Time Locks, and any exchanges located outside of New York State can ignore any stupid laws they make up.
An offshore exchange , is way safer than a LN HUB, which you won't even directly choose, you just paid a fee and it picks it's own path of hubs.

So yes, Exchanges are all safer than LN/segshit will be.
LN Hubs will be required to report all of their transactions to any government they reside or do business in since all of their transactions will cross country/state lines.
Exchanges can be under just 1 country laws as their exchange resides within a single country and those trades never leave than country.
Every LN Hub will be responsible in every country they transmit too and from, since they are basically using their own IOUs system like a bank note.
KYC Laws will be enforced on all LN Hubs (confiscation is possible with LN), which was one of the design reasons for them to start with.

╥Aztek
Anyone with some Bitcoins can run a LN hub you dumb fucking retard. It will make big blockers look like dinosaurs of a forgotten past.

You're talking to a wall she says you need millions and a bank licence

LN is true peer to peer money I can open a channel with you and we can transact together without anyone ever knowing or being able to touch it

Oh you wanna sent my friend some money but don't have a link here go through mine

You can probably expect LN first half of 2018 its almost ready I have used it a few times now on testnet already and there are some coins that claim they will have LN before the end of the year

Hmmm tek I think you're in the wrong place to pump this Lightning vaporware, and you'd better wait "18 more months" 3 more times and LOL before you get too excited...

Even the hardKore trolls don't talk too much about Lightning anymore. Face it, why build "crap on top of crap", rather than just use another coin?

how is a block size change and a different adjustment algo superior code? its the same code. i think you mean to say same code but superior parameter change ov course in your opinion else you are stating it as fact when of course you arent the authority to state such as truth

Superior Performance and Superior Protection from a death spiral =  Superior CODE !

I state Logic , when if you can reason logically , you see it as factual and truthful because you can see it also.

╥Aztek

By the way the addition of segshit into core coin , with its anyone can send address, is definitely INFERIOR to the original design.

incorrect. you stated superior code this is a statement made of fact.

saying the current difficulty adjustment algo allows x which i believe means y. this is a statement of logic without making it sound like you state fact.

you should start prefacing you comments with i believe. without that you are indeed stating it as fact when its not. its not someone taking it as factual. if you structure your sentences as stating fact then thats what it is. its not others taking it the wrong way. if you think that to be the case then you are indeed saying how the english language functions in sentences and use is wrong. this isnt the case at all.

I doubt it's even worth discussing with Aztek. Anyone who fails to understand that on-chain scalability solutions are short-term and no real improvement to the code is completely blind. I'd like to point to Antonopoulos here who correctly says that any solution improving scalability linearly is no solution to crypto's real problems. We need exponential scalability and increasing the block size is no such solution.

So you literally say Bill Gates was right: stay on 640K - or eMail you prefer to stay at max 1MB ?

This is exactly a 'restricted view by day = today" - this is not Bitcoin's idea.

Bitcoin is open to all scaling - it's an open system to all competitive solutions and such simply cannot include any limitations.

Limitations come into by physical and economical boundaries by default - and scaling boundaries  cannot be  part of any base protocol.

So relax and watch what dimensions of scaling are out there....

So you literally say that any scaling solution should be exploited? Do you know why cars don't drive 300 Mph? Because they couldn't? Or because there comes a massive security risk with that? What do you think? Will they never go that fast? Yes they will, once it's certain that anyone's security doesn't suffer from scaling to higher potential speed.

Now, now...Bitcoin now passed the ten thousand dollars mark. What do you think would be the consequence of this for Bitcoin cash, being the closest competitor of Bitcoin? Surely there must be grandiose plans for this coin to make the value more higher.

it's not the closest competitor. it's supposed to be the replacement. some people would say ethereum is the closest competitor but even the ethereum devs would tell you that they're not in competition. they're different things with different purposes.

let's see what happens but beyond pump and dumps i think this coin's chance has passed. it's always gonna be around and there'll be many a spike but it's not bitcoin.

Oh yeah you can run one right NOW on testnet you fucking retarded puke of vaginal trash.
It's how professional and secure software is built, with proper fucking testing, not coups over arbitrary block limits.

Look up there... no! behind you!

Oh well, nevermind. It flew right over your head. The point.

The point is, that so far, LN is useless as a form of money transfer. As money is not transferred on the testnet. "you fucking retarded puke of vaginal trash" (haha - not my argument, but it is a lovely turn of phrase, innit?)

More importantly, LN will remain useless as long as a permissionless, decentralized, anonymous, pathfinding algorithm does not yet exist. Which it does not. When will the breakthrough happen? Hmm?

Anyone with a campaign ad in their signature -- for an organization with which they are not otherwise affiliated -- is automatically deducted credibility points.

In my opinion, mods should ban anyone who uses "bcash" in here because it is almost like fraud, deceiving and misleading the users by not using "Bitcoin Cash". Very disrespectful, low class and trashy to use "bcash", but hey, that's just me.

Ps. "Class" has nothing to do with wealth. A rich person can be low class and a poor person can be high class. It is a state of mind.

Roger Ver is a truly cancerous and pathetic baboon. He defends his lack of knowledge and integrity with "What's your yearly revenue? Less than $1m?". Roll Eyes This shitcoin is actually called Bcash. Calling it anyone else is a fraud, not the reverse.

Right why don't the Bcash people just build superior technology quietly but instead bash the real Bitcoin 24 hours a day?
Here's why: They don't have a single skilled engineering that wants to work on btrash.

I know and that is why I made my comment Wink Man it was a great laugh to see how Roger felt the need to tell the world for how long he has been a millionaire. To anyone supporting BCash: the first thing I would try to do is to get rid of Roger Ver if you want BCash gain some credibility Cheesy

did bitcoin try to get rid off him for its first few yrs?
so if he has $ should the usa get rid off him..?

What if he has even more btc now than he did before Bitcoin cash was born...?

tbh im surprised he gives interviews to random guys that clearly dont understand how crypto works...

I could have liked bcash. I actually blame all the shitty people in it for putting me off. I might revise this if it drops low enough.

Of course its totally centralized and owned by Bitmain, and the fact that more or less reasonable people like jbear refuse to acknowledge it, just makes it seem all the more scammy.

Hint: It's discovering upward.
