I only have my PIN number for the ledger and I lost my passphrase, so I can't upgrade the firmware. I lready pulled out all my btc and eth. Trying to transfer it to a different wallet , so I can upgrade the firmware. I also tried sweeping the private keys to electrum wallet....

the ratios get hammered no matter what. the actual dollar prices really haven't fallen that much for many coins. it doesn't matter if it trades against bitcoin or tether. the price winds up the same.

I have noticed some coins that fall harder than average during "alt bleedings". Most amateur traders are convinced that in such moments "weak hands sell their bags in ATL". I think it is the developer team that dumps their holdings.

Not if there is a significant backlog of transactions trying to get added to the blockchain. If everyone in the world wanted to open only one channel each, it would take over 30 years for BTC to accommodate that demand. And nobody can use Lightning without opening a channel.

I wonder why hasn't Roger Ver and the company - ViaBTC, Antpool, Bitmain, rolled out BCH trading pairs earlier?
It's easily understood why the BCH trading pairs include only PoW chains that are actively mined by Bitmain. However, I expect BCH pairs to add liquidity and drive down the intraday volatility. It's a good decision for the entire market.

Bitcoin indeed has a lot of pending transactions now, because:
1. Holders look to fix USD profits, sending their BTC to exchanges. That generates a huge amount of transactions.
2. Payment processors and exchange administrators are not eager enough to implement Layer 2 scaling solutions (see Segwit transaction rate), even they endorsed scaling upgrades.

Many in this thread would love to see again the Nov 12 scenario - "the flippening". This time it won't pass - neither the FUD level, nor the market sentiment support it.
