Once a transaction has 6 confirmations, it is extremely unlikely that an attacker without at least 50% of the network's computation power would be able to reverse it.

Within the South Korean cryptocurrency exchange market, the price of Bitcoin Cash has surpassed $3,800, due to a flurry of mainstream media reports that have emerged over the past few days.

For now Bcash is all talk and promises from it's supporters but the reality shows it's just dumping, it's the one that lost the most in BTC these last days in the most known projects, even before the BTC pump, while other projects are more solid or even pumping

Exactly more and better projects are coming. Bcash is nothing more then a manipulated pump and dump coin. Isn't used for payments just ask the Bshills for the embarrassing list.
it has a terrible rep (thank Roger Ver). Keep dreaming  Grin

what I don't understand if Bitcoin Cash not worth anything (by your opinion) then why waste time if there are better projects.

OK, Let's try it with cryptos, I will go first:

MY top Priorities (your can be different, but be honest please):
1. I can use it, merchants accept it and I can trade it on exchanges or with private parties
2. It's secure
3. It's safe from theft and govt meddling/inflation
4. Low fees

So far, BTC only fits 2 and 3 - 1 and 4 are gone due to Kore's retardedness/compromise

BCH fits all 4. Your turn.

No it was about the article that what you highlighted is bold was just a quote from it which is going to be biased due to the publication owner

Like ive said many many times BTC is prioritising chain optimisation this will allow roughly the same amount of transactions to fit in the current block space that BCH can fit in a 8MB block after this is done then yes a block increase will follow if it's needed but right now after all optimisations there is adequate capacity just be patient it's not a race to the finish

99% of BCH code was created by BTC devs and most likely futurecode will be too don't try and cut off the hand that feeds you

Come on teck, you're stalling. No more buzzwords and rhetoric. Just make your list of priorities - it will help you think this all through.

You cannot fix stupid with that guy.

He still would use next Windows Version despite MS (soft) forked it to e.g. store all his private data in  a MS cloud to give him more local disc space (or something very similar but same stupid) , which would make a < 1% change of MS code.

excellent interview!  nailing it!  enjoyed watching the previous video too re: the ln.  The look on that guys face as he realizes the ln fees.  economists know how bad fees are for a currency)

agree the core guys are putting out the "bitcoin" alts.  just shows they were bad actors not incompetent actors IMO.

https://uk.trustpilot.com/review/kraken.com
Kraken is pure crap
Kraken is pure crap. Bugs all the time, takes ages to do anything. Each page takes 30 seconds to load, it's like being back in the 90s.

Published 5 days ago
STAY AWAY. absolute piece of crap// even a SCAM perhaps
This feels like a 100% scam. barely got out with my money. everything is slow as fck. my reloade button broke from constant relodes those errors are absolutely frustrating / takes ~10 attempts to write an order to the order book and when i decided to withdraw my ltc the site told me that i need further identification with my passport. but i insisted on reloading the page and withdrawal page reappeared again. i guess id's not needed afterall Smiley they just trying to get my id as a last resort those fckn scamers. glad im gone now.

KRAKEN  BYE BYE...lost too much money because of you guys...why bother using it when it cant even do what it says...trade...
seems like its designed to take peoples money by not letting them buy or sell when they want to.

Published 02 January 2018
Diabolically Poor

Literally the only thing Kraken has going for it is that they will let you deposit/withdraw fiat currency and make a couple of grand's worth of transactions per month, without forcing you to expose yourself to Identity Theft by requiring you to upload personal documents first --as most of the other exchanges insist upon.

Everything else about the site is a total and utter shambles.

* Connections to the site are the most unreliable of any website I have ever used. After a while, you will find yourself thinking that the CloudFlare Error Page is the Kraken homepage, you'll be seeing it so frequently.

* Often it literally takes ten or twenty reloads of a page before it finally displays a page, without timing out. And this is for every single page on the site; every time you click a link to change pages, or display a different set of info, you'll be playing Reload Roulette.

* To compound the general unusability of the site; when pages do eventually load, often half the content is missing, so you can't see anything anyway.

* If a miracle happens, the gods smile on you and you both manage to get a page to load and to load fully, then you're still not out of the woods. Any transactions you try to make are far more likely to fail than to succeed and often you will see alarming [but spurious] error messages telling you your account has been locked, or that you need to upgrade it to be able to transact.

I think sometimes the site actually chooses error messages at random and displays them, just to try and make you think it's actually doing something, rather than just timing out again. Whatever the case, it's back for another round of Reload Roulette for you!

What makes all of this so galling is that Kraken's fees are amongst the highest of any of the big exchanges. They must be absolutely coining it in, yet they do nothing to fix their shambolic website. They've been promising major upgrades for nigh on a year now and nothing ever improves. If anything, the performance is getting worse.

if you do actually manage to buy some crypto from there, I'd recommend you withdraw it immediately to your own wallet/s, rather than leave it in the care of these Keystone Cops.

I think that the seperation of BTC and BCH will hurt the bitcoin community more than strengthening it. United is power!

Lol, crypto entering trillion dollar market, congratulation to blockchain technology and welcome to 2018. Yet, as with any time where technology enter a new era, many projects will fail, a few that succeed, the new microsoft, apple, fb, etc...with have multi billion dollar market cap.

Good news from BCH: https://twitter.com/Bitcoin/status/950586680939024385
You can now purchase #BitcoinCash at all branches of the Austrian Post Office. "https://t.co/tcwl8qjKck"

Might be cause BTC price going sideway recently.
