This might sound like a daft question but why does the paypal account have to be 3 months old? Why can't I set up a paypal account sell you bitcoin and you fund my account and then I can send that money to a more established account.

It smells like a scam from a distance, i dont ecourage anyone to do this because you will end up getting robbed. The OP is also very defensive which makes me believe he is a scammer afterall!

This is because pp tends to put a 21 day hold on fresh accounts, well at least for any payment over $100.
Moreover, there is now the 3 day withdrawal time that pp applies like never before.
So older the account is (and in good standing) best are the chances to have the withdrawals completed after only 24 hours.
It's a win-win both for us and receiver.

I am really surprised this thread still exists in the forum. This thread should have been long deleted from the system and the user along with the IP he/she is using should have been banned long time ago. He/She talks openly about a scam and we are still discussing about him without kicking him out forever.
