The death penalty in my opinion is very unwise. Why we as humans have to judge a person for the actions or wrongs with this punishment. The human life is the same, the right to decide death is only God. punishment for humans for wrongdoing should be life's punishment. The prison may not deter humans, but at least reduce the thought of committing crimes again

In God's law and Man's law as well, it doesn't dictate to kill your neighbor. If we want to punish someone well, it is not apt to impose a death penalty because we are just only breaking the rules. Justice can't be found through killing.

Why we give death penalty to anybody? Because he or she have done some illegal thing. there are some bad effect due to that thing. Otherwise why they do wrong things . Because of the society. As an example get a thief , our economic culture force him to be a thief.  So i think society responsible for every fault of the people . I never agree with death penalty

I believe that we just borrow our lives from God. And He is the only one who have right to take them away from us.

My answer is yes and no. Yes because I want to eliminate the criminals and have them punish for the crime they did. If criminals will be lessen,  our country will be peaceful.

No,  because they are still humans who needs forgiveness and acceptance. I think they deserve a second chance. Whem we do that,  they have to undergo series of trainings,  seminars and counselling to make sure that they will change and live a new life.

There should be a punishment for every guility. Some people has done unforgivable things. They should be punished with death penalty. But in some cases death penalty is not acceptable.

If it dealt with what he was doing as kill people intentionally planned and I think it is worthy and deserving to be accepted that person because of course life has to be paid with lives.

If you will be based in the bible one of the commandments of the God is We shall not kill. I believe that no one has the right to take human's life we all have a right to live and defend ourselves on accusations even though that person did something wrong they are also humans who has an opportunity to change for better thats why death penalty is not acceptable.

Death penalty is one of the major issues that the world should be concern about. Death penalty has been implemented in some countries while for some nations, it hasn't just like in my country, the Philippines. We are known for our strong religious beliefs, however, that is not my basis why I do not agree in death penalty. I believe that no matter our religion is, no matter how different are we from each other, and no matter how we thirst from justice, we must remember the value of life, regardless of what it does. I do not believe in the belief of sone about "an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth". I do believe that justice does not come to us if we kill people because of other people. We may not forget people who harms us, but we must at least try to forgive them. Because after all, it is for our own peace of mind and to free our hearts from hatred. Let us remember also that if you kill people, you do not end your pain, you just extend it to the people for their lost.

I don't believe in murdering someone for what they have done if they have murdered someone then you are doing the same. they should just be locked up for life.

Nobody gives the right to kill someone. If you stole someone's life, please free up space on Earth for people who want to live. Why should we keep the brutal murderers in prisons?

Personally, I support this punishment.

I honestly approve of the death penalty. This gives a deterrent effect for other criminals. Because criminals are more sadistic than what we imagine. If they are allowed to live then when they get out of prison will repeat the crime again.

I agree with the death penalty if it is the only way to put crime down. Imprisonment is not enough to pay the crime that one person does. We need to restrict the law in this kind of issue.

I'm not royalty agree to a death penalty due to it's very harsh killing people. They get the right of the family of the victims.

In my honest opinion, the death penalty is extreme but necessary in some cases. There are some individuals (I won't call them people) who do not deserve to be in the society. For example, a man wakes up and kills an entire family simply because he wants to, do you believe such is fit to live at all? That might be an extreme example, try a scenario where someone like a kingpin who has connections, who has been to the correctional facility more than once still comes and commits the same crime again, is such fit to live?
The death penalty is extreme but necessary.

yes absolutely. but the crimes that will be punished by death penalty are the ones which are heinous and those who are really proven to be guilty of their sins without any genuine remorse of what they did.

Your right, but there are so many people who aren't capable enough to think logically and morally.

I would say yes as long as it went to proper due process and the suspect are proven guilty. I believe that life is God's gift as well, but I don't think criminals would think of that if they have intentions of taking innocent lives.

I would state yes as long as it went to appropriate due process and the suspect are demonstrated blameworthy. I trust that life is God's blessing also, however I don't figure offenders would think about that on the off chance that they have aims of taking pure lives.

Well, in the first place, death penalty was used not just to prove that the government was absolute and strong, yet it was been active not to trigger people to do bad things but for people to avoid such things. Capital punishment for murder, treason, arson, and rape was widely employed in ancient Greece under the laws of Draco (fl. 7th century BCE), though Plato argued that it should be used only for the incorrigible. The Romans also used it for a wide range of offences, though citizens were exempted for a short time during the republic. It also has been sanctioned at one time or another by most of the world’s major religions. There are many types of sin, there are sin that is totally worthy of a death sentence and there are some that is not. Death sentence is not just a toy for the government to play it, it must includes a lot of processes and consultation to prove that an accused peroson is worthy of that.
