6X 500 Series GPU's in Windows 7 a no go?

Cannot for the life of me get 6 x 580 working in Windows 7 x64, I've tried the 6GPU mod (in admin mode) multiple times, Still only 5 of the 6 GPU's work, 1 shows code 43..

It's possible to get 6 GPUs running in Windows 7, but may be easier with Ubuntu if that's an option for you.
If you're not a Linux user, Windows 10 might also work better. (I'm not telling you how you should obtain Windows 10, if you know what I mean. )

I've used it successfully before on Windows 7 with 6 7xxx series cards, but never with 580s, so I don't know if the more recent drivers will allow you to use this modification. More likely than not, they won't be compatible, unfortunately.

I successfully got 6 x 280x working in W7 with the patcher but the 580 rig not so, The patcher says its completed and to reboot but it still shows code 43..

As there is no RX 580 Windows 8.1 driver -.- , I suppose I'm forced into Windows 10 which I cant stand because its so intrusive.  (I've never used Linux and don't really have the time to learn it)

Won't work due to AMD drivers. Need WIn 10 if you got newer cards.

had the exact same problem as op but with fiji/hawaii cards in the rig, couldn't for the life of it get it to work above 5 cards(error 43)

upgrading to win 10 solved it, 6 cards work like a charm since then.

RX 500 can not work with 6 gpu in windows 7 because of drivers, you must use widnows 10
Even rx 400 can not work with 6 gpu in win 7, only older ones.
Nvidia is fine with win 7, 6x gpus, but for 8 gpu also need win 10

I recently started to have rigs drop their 5th card into code 43 out of nowhere. The hardware is fine, if I swap stuff around it still works. Seems like a driver issue to me
