Well we can provide value.

If people believes in the product, there will be x times rise in the long run.

We as a team are not looking to raise money and run, rather to raise money, get more and much better development to go on our already built alpha product, etc.

So, any other ideas or platforms to advertise and market ICO?
It's easy to advertise ICO's that are already working products like apps, games and businesses that are already developed since we can explain more vivid the use of that proje t like if in Games in Shadow Token if ever got that token we almost have full access to play that game or will get discounts on their purchases. But we still need also to try some projects that are inspiring or can be realistic just make it realistic to the investors thatproject is worth having and that it can really be made. That's it.

Given that the project heading to an ICO has really great potential, is well-elaborated (also in the white paper), and is lead by a credible, experienced team, you'll need:
- a robust landing page with right emphases and all relevant information, and
- a bunch of marketing activities using these instruments listed in another thread:
1. Classic PR - press releases, interviews, Q&A
2. Banner advertising - display ads for extensive reach
3. Influential marketing - connect with opinion leaders.
4. Social media - connect with audience & opinion leaders.
5. YouTube - statements from founders, project introduction.
6. Bounty campaigns - referrals showtime.
7. Placements in blogs - native advertising.
8. Viral media - videos or pictures.
9. Community marketing - you know, Bitcointalk.
10. Events - meetups, conferences etc.

It seems you are coming up with your own ICO, but one thing you should have in mind is that the product you want to sell must be marketable, if not your effort will amount to nothing

Well, I think it is marketable, but as a founder I will obviously praising my product, but unlike other ICO's, I will be having the alpha version of complete working product before we start the ICO, so users can see the product, so market the real product, than just idea (Ofcourse, only if they think it is a good product)

Well, in that case it will be slightly easy for our team to market ICO, as we will have our alpha version of complete working product available for anyone to try before we launch our ICO to raise fund.

Giving exclusive access won't be fair to users as I think everyone should have the access so that they can see what this product can do.

But giving discount is a really great idea, and we can implement that in our product.

And ofcourse the project can be made, as we are already completed a part of our project and working well to complete it soon. Even though we have a small team, we are really dedicated to work on our product.

Whitepaper? Hell with it, we will have an alpha version of complete working product!
Credible, Experienced Team? No Sad But we are ready to learn anything and every famous guy started at zero! And we are learning each day!
Landing page? Sure, easy peasy Smiley
Marketing? I have a fine knowledge of marketing and have done for few company, but I have not yet done for an ICO, which soon will change Wink

For marketing you can do it in social media, like in twitter & facebook.
You can ask for company help like escrow, and personal with bounty announcement, that's only a small opinion to succeed ICO.

unfortunately, you cant get away from writing a whitepaper even if you have a working product. you need to address the token utility, your development roadmap, target market, business revenue, etc. there are many well-written whitepapers out there for reference. however as with most of the comments here, your business solution must make sense and $$.

Svyaznoy's list is quite comprehensive and worst case scenario, engage a digital media company to help with the PR. I approached a company recently on an upcoming ICO and was quoted US$150K~$500k depending on how far you are willing to go. I have done a fair bit of research over the past couple of months and i think cost could be managed to below US$50k for reasonable outreach. however bottomline, your solution must make sense. you cant even begin to imagine how many trolls out here that will trash your idea, accuse you of being a money-grabber, scam, etc etc.....

If you need help, you can PM me, hahaha hopefully i can share some positive experience in the next couple of months.

Indeed a research must be done in advance to give maximum results. And the right decision can also give a satisfactory result

What are the different ways you can market ICO?

Which all platforms and advertising agencies?

Who are the people who make an ICO successful?

How much upfront budget is normally being spend on ICO Marketing & Advertising?

Very simple, but first, you have to show people that your project is good, it will grow strongly in the future. You need to prepare all the necessary information about your project. Then, execute the bonus campaign here, it will help you promote the ICO.

I think it must have unique style ico compare to other signature campaign, something will get their attetion to invest in the token.
Then there should have enough fund for it, and show something that the fund will grow much more than the expectation of the investors.

Are you planning to open ICO so you say such a thing?
Opening ICO is not easy, this is a question that can only be answered by genius men
Yes, what you say is not easy, you have to consider many things to do, and learn from someone who is already good at it.

True if we do not effort then there will be no answer in the form of results. But to start it must have a very good plan, because not a few of those who just started ico produce an overflowing result.

I will make whitepaper for sure, but unlike majority of ICO, I was stressing the fact that we would have a working product, so those who are lazy to read the whitepaper, can atleast check out the product.

Marketing is a major issue for sure. And soon, legal issues will popup as well.

as a prudent step, you should seek legal opinion on your whitepaper or business solution and how it sits with the regulator when it comes to ICO.
unless you would like to exclude US person (not just citizen) as well as some other nationality such as Singaporean.

Having a working product is definitely a plus, however the best product in the world and not having the right marketing campaign will be challenging as well. Which is why i spent the last couple of months just researching in how to market the ICO.

One thing that it is very important, I consider is keeping very informed to the project's follower community, keeping them up about new information. This gives credibility to the project. There always will be these people say that the project is scam, but if you do this, many people will give them their trust in that project

I don't know if someone already mentioned you but also there's another way do marketing for an ICO, you can offer bounty to those people that have a blog about cryptocurrencies for writing an article about project

I think the best way for opening an ICO is to learn from others, as you can see ,there are many ICOs in different stages, and you can see the dev team how to promote their projects. For example, you can get a lot of information from the Announcement board in this section.

There are cryptocurrency advertisement agencies which you can give an advertisement to many popular cryptocurrency websites. You can also give an advertisement here or make a bounty campaign.

If your confident your project is going to be a hit and that you think its worth funded by investors then promote it to targeted users in several bitcoin groups in facebook. Also allow the chinese translators to promote it to the chinese community. They all want something that will make them rich so if they find your project quite interesting they will send money for it.
