All these little crypto-traumas get people so worried and they sell cheap and then the coin goes up.  It's hard to know what goes on.   Maybe some of them are planned.

Wallet can't connect to any source. Royalties dies just after the return of the dev and now dev left. The coin was too hard to mine compare to it's price, that's why i think it is dead. The difficulty of mining didn't adjust to the current price of the coin.

It is strange that the coin is still being traded as the blockchain is dead... As it is still on exchanges, people can still buy XRY.

Coin ain't dead. On the blockchain it can be seen that there are every tx every few minutes.  But the coin has a few weaknesees:

1. Interest rates seem kinda Ponzi. Also your account gets locked during interest period. No need for interest when the money can come from trading.
2. Mining reward is very low compared to work to be done and amount of coins avaialable.
3. There is an astronomical amount of coins to be released, which does not make it of value for investors, but only for pum[p and dump schemes. Devs should cap amount of coins and abolish interest rated to restore trust of investors.

What's the problem with you that Cryptopia blocked your wallet? Can you wait for the currency to be worth nothing?

Sure sign its being bagged on expected dumps. Save them if you have any.
This businesses is rotten to the core. I hope my bank will start their own crypto currency some day.

The lock deposits is a good idea in contrast to the allways-on wallets sucking on you electric bill.

1. Well don't lock your coins in deposits then.
2. Make a deposit and receive interest. That is where some of the coins go.
3. Buy on 24 low and sell on 24 high. And trust your dick til it starts pissing on the seat.

Kind regards.

PS: I have just redeposited. Talking about compound interest.

PPS: Cryptopia check. XRY withdrawals/deposits is open. You wanna play with the wallet time is now!

This coin is doing the 1-2 limbo these days. Someone is doubling bitcoins on it.

My bet is that it will be derailed if anyone tries to get a piece of the action.

What do you mean by derailed? Do you mean it will never go up?

See below for a list of recent comments from the developer on Twitter / Discord:

"Sry everyone I have been working on something very important in the crypto space I will share once it’s public. As for XRY I’m in the works of a rebrand and migration to a fresh Monero fork so we can get away from all the XDN legacy bugs.

...I wish I had any news from Cryptopia! they are too busy and way too understaffed.. I cant really control the exchanges wallets.. but once XRY is migrated to the fresh Monero fork.. I will get us on a proper exchange.. I have already had the convo with the exchange owner

...we will be doing Deposits 2.0 at the same time.. and maybe something not mentioned yet.. we don’t want to add to much to the pre-launch.. but want to make sure this migration comes with a few upgrades

...We are still in the planning phase..I will say we have put thought behind how we will make sure no one gets screwed by Cryptopia for this migration.. if we just take a snapshot of the blockchain then everyone will have to depend Cryptopia to support the change over.. or keep their wallet online so ppl can move them to the PC wallet.. then we have ppl with funds locked in deposits that can’t move them.. also old blockchain deposits unlocks will mess with new total supply.. so we are planning the swap taking in consideration for all this"

So the coin is NOT dead!! Have faith!

No i mean that it will either rise in price or go to zero till you grow old or be delisted.

Claimed 51% attacks is also seen when buyers are in to much "luck". Or eternal wallet maintenance.

You will learn to know the lice on their walk.

Didn't you wonder why cryptopia XRY wallet was in maintenance for at least 22000 blocks ?

Same goes for POS coins. It is often seen that some exchanges wont let the coins leave the exchange so the can keep the POS rewards. Hints. Coindump comes after.

Check how many coins is listed on one exchange and you will get an idea how the coins is traded. Also if someone tells you that binance for example list all the newest coins an alarm bell should ring.

Worst case. An exchange with wallet maintenance and a "known" coin on its own chain. Easiest way to rip of customers on branded POS coins.

I will probably figure something even worse out one of these days ;-) Still in bizz.

BTW. It is snowing here so i am off for some bird balls. You know those greasy corn thingies you hang in a tree for the birds to eat.

Throw some "shit" and see what sticks.

And it went up to 3 and back to 1 satoshi. Waiting for the jerks to sell off before the next pump.

Most people will be better of saving it than trying to make a trade of it.

PS: That lock thing in the wallet is acting weird.. Don't lock more than a fraction of your coins for testing till further notice and let the developer have some explaining/work-time on it. Reminds me of the broken private wallet part on the bitok wallet. Just in a new way.

Throw some "shit" and see what sticks.

I guess its just me that's weird. Looks fine now. Except for 60.415022 unconfirmed XRY's just hanging there.

That is no news.

PS: Throw in an updated node list once in a while. "Some exchanges.." have problem with zero connections.

PPS: The wallet just unlocked a 22000 block (1.25% interest) deposit today. List by "unlock height" helped on the overview.

Throw some "shit" and see what sticks.

Ok.. Now i have unlocked a deposit. It is cleared on transactions list (351 confirmations. To:(n/a)) but stands as unconfirmed in the overview list. Meaning. The coins are not available for redeposit, or spending for that matter.

Looks like something is wrong with the "sync" on the different parts of the wallet. Perhaps a "refresh button" would be an idea ?

Pardon my ignorance if any. (Spellchecker suggests the word "re-bounce")

PS: HA. The coins have showed up on on balance now. No worries. And the good old stuck 60.415022 XRY is back on the menu.

Made a new deposit. Compound interest. Aka Potency.

PPS: Sums up to know the flow..

Throw some "shit" and see what sticks.

Waaahhhh. Done chasing birds.. And i got a Dogex airdrop in the meantime.
Got a good feeling about that one. Being underdog and everything.

I have just got 1000+ xry unlocked.

Starting to lock them in a bunch of 100 a day or something. 22000 blocks.

Throw some "shit" and see what sticks.
