I downloaded the latest files from https://electrum.org/#download

Both of below files failed the verification test using the gnupg kalopetra software

Standalone Executable (signature)
Windows Installer (signature)

View the screenshot and advise what to do as its not secure to use such files:-

Bitcoin addresses contain a checksum, so it is very unlikely that mistyping an address will cause you to lose money.

That's alright. It looks like you've successfully managed to verify the signature of the electrum executable and it seems fine. The only reason why you're getting "The data could not be verified" is because you haven't trusted the developers public key / signature (Thomas V's public key). Once you do that you'll no longer get that issue. For more information on how to do this using Kleopatra refer here - https://bitzuma.com/posts/how-to-verify-an-electrum-download-on-windows/

Refer to the section "Optional: Sign the Developer Key" and then re-verify your files once again and you'll notice that this message will no longer show.
