Earnings
An earning period is based upon block time. It is the amount of time between 576 blocks which is approximately 24 hours. When an earning period ends each active node is checked and any node with exceptions or downtime causing the node to be available less than 92% of the earning period is excluded from the earnings pool. A node with greater than 92% availability but with some downtime or exceptions will have the amount of time subtracted from their allocation. These small subtractions help offset the fees incurred with making the payments.

A payment administrator on a weekly basis reviews the earnings to ensure they were generated correctly and marks them to be paid.

Coins are then transferred to a payment address and the payment is made. No funds are stored on the server. This process may be automated at a later time.

So i now that secure nodes program is still in testing, but how many zencash tokens would one get as a reward of having set up one secure node?

There was a calculator on this site http://zen.lebre.net/, but i doesn't work anymore.

And even when it did work it showed insane numbers, if i put 1 secure nod, price od zen = 20$ and price of VPS =5$, it would say that i wil earn 741 zencash tokens or some other ridiculous number.

So the question is if i have one secure node when they start to function how much zencash would i get per month?

No it doesn't work. And this answer mens nothing to me. Would you humor me and run the calculator(if it work) and simulate that you have 1 node, you pay 5$ VPS , and price od zen is 21$, how much zen would you get per month?

yes it works fine and you would get 15.12 zen with 500 nodes (currently on beta).

More nodes-> less ZEN in free circulation, greater demand -> better price..

We are in Beta testing and there are more than 500 nodes. Expect at least 10x more on mainnet.

it needs to be up and running 92% of the time. I assume you wont receive the "stake reward" if you are below that number.

I thought this also, but now we have 500 nodes running in test mode, without payments. When they start paying this number will increase significantly. Actually i believe, in very short period of time we jumped from below 100 nodes to 500 nodes.

You probably haven't set up node yet because you are waiting to see how things going to work.
Once when nodes start returning money they will become target for many interested including those who already running nodes.  
Also those setup guides are not so simple, this is maybe small obstacle, Team will work on this! If you consider that we are in testing phase, number of 500 nodes is quite a good!
