Hello guys! First I will tel you I am great supporter of ZenCash and I feel it'll be a great project. I have been holding coins from the star. I am noob when it comes to mining and I have a guestion. Do you have to mine zencash in order to set up a secure node or you just rent a virtual server and set up a secure node without mining? Can someone explain to me in most simplest form  . Guys, as part of usability and market acceptance of zencash have you reached out to private internet access vpn service? As the biggest vpn provider in the market they already accept zcash so it could be a good one to lobby. I sent them a request anyway so if they keep getting peppered with requests they might come around

Reaching out to PIA or other VPN providers to see if they will accept ZenCash sounds like a great idea. It's a longshot, but if any of them take it up it will be great news and a good use case for the coin.

Well did just this and received the same error.  "error code: -4 Cannot backup wallet until the -exportdir option has been set". Something that may be interesting is that the "Encrypt.." option onder wallet is also unclickable. Is that normal? Other than this the wallet is working fine send and receive. Edit: also very similar error when trying to export keys My advice is to join slack channel, there you will get answer for sure. |

My swing wallet was syncing fine until few days ago. Now every time I run it, it gets stuck at this: (Windows 8.1, latest swing wallet 0.70.3 beta)  |

My swing wallet was syncing fine until few days ago. Now every time I run it, it gets stuck at this: (Windows 8.1, latest swing wallet 0.70.3 beta) I have seen this on a few wallets. Not sure if it's the same with the swing wallet, but a fix for this was to go to the appdata folder for zen and in blocks folder delete the blk00000.dat file, and restart and sync again. If I am wrong someone please correct me. Make sure you back up your keys first (wallet.dat file) just incase. Maybe try version 0.70.3a |

I am very impressed by the lately price development. It seems that we have found a floor to recover from. I'm happy to have some ZEN, buy regretting not to have bought more when price was languishing at the floor.

Sometimes simple restart fixes situation.

The GUI wallet only shows progress. There were issues that if the old wallet was used past the hard-fork point the blockchain then did not sync after that even with the new wallet. The solution is generally to run zend manually with a reindex parameter.
