Thx for suggesting us to join Slack's #securenodes channel. I apreciate it very much!  One question more. It's all about ZCash blockchain. Maybe I've googled bad but unfortunately I couldn't find any resource to download a ZCash blockchain from. The thing is I installed a ZCash wallet yeaterday and tried to sync it. I've got to say it took me a lot of time. So an idea flashed me to zip last full ZCash blockchain and upload it to, for example, DropBox or any other portal where anybody who interested in getting ZCash blockchain could download it. Maybe ZCash society need somebody who could upload ZCash blockchain every day/week/month for tiny fee (naturally in ZCash)?  . If you don't mind I could do it regularly with pleasure... P.S. My aim is make a sure ZCash masternode right at my house... |

They really gave some coin to a test net? If not a secret what ZenCash wallet do U use? Eleos or Swing? And what's your OS? |

I do use Swing in a test mode.
The basic requirements of Secure Nodes are:
Maintain a minimum of 42 ZEN in transparent address per node. Demonstrates the operator cares enough about ZenCash to own some.
Create and maintain a valid TLS certificate from a known Certificate Authority. This enabled encrypted data transport.
Run the node on a server with enough processor and memory so that it can meet a computational challenge. This protects against DDoS attacks.
Maintain a full copy of the ZenCash blockchain. This makes sure no UTXO’s or commitments are lost.
Keep the node up and running at least 92% of the time.
3.5% of the ZenCash mining reward is distributed to all Secure Nodes which meet the requirements during each pay period. This bolded about number of necessary coins does not mean they must be in a particular wallet, for transparent address address you can use any wallet we currently have. honestly it's hard to think that zen will grow somewhere near the future but who am i to tell this , eh ? imo you should carry only bitcoin in this times , alts are so unstable during bitcoin rally. |

I don't want to be caught in this discussion, but i think that it is opposite, this is best time for involving in alts. ZenCash team working and delivering what has been promised and this is the most important. You may read a white paper and make some parallels what has been promised and achieved..Smart people follow success, not promises. |

I don't want to be caught in this discussion, but i think that it is opposite, this is best time for investing in alts. ZenCash team working and delivering what has been promised and this is the most important. You may read a white paper and make some parallels what has been promised and achieved..Investors follow success, not promises.

Too many alt-coins are just vaporware, they have a great White Paper with pie-in-sky dreams, but have a difficult time following through; the coin trades, but it has no function. Zen is already being used to purchase items, but more importantly, they say they're going to do something then follow through and do it. Speaking of which, I just heard they are now setting up the Beta Servers. For those who haven't been following, Secure Nodes will not go to Beta until it is a fully functioning product, so Secure Nodes are progressing well. |

Just tried it out. There's something I would absolutely change: on main page there should be address written and QR code (not up-right like it is now). Also QR codes, private and public should NOT be shown on same page! (If I want to scan QR to send some funds, I should not see his private QR code). Jaxx interface is very nice, on one page there is QR code, the address itself which you can copy/paste and balance. |
