Each of the big leaps in ZEN has been due to some HNW individual deciding to hedge systemic tail risks by investing a small part of their wealth in ZEN. ZEN remains the single technology most like hard money: non-inflationary, fungible, private - and it far outpaces the field in minimizing counterparty risks, conflicts of interest, and agency problems, such as we see in the governance of ETH, BCH, DASH, and even, now, in BTC itself. While punters will always chase the speculative momentum of the day wherever it is found, the smart money, the slow money, the big money is much more concerned about risk management than speculation. ZEN provides a unique value proposition in this area: Money which cannot be seen, cannot be stolen.

The long-term upside to being the natural inheritor of the crown of global digital cash is orders of magnitude beyond the scale of any "tarpit-complete" "ponzi-node" or "developer's tax-donkey" snake oil fad. Nothing about this story has changed in the past 3 years, except the nearness of its denouement. (Which I now believe to be imminent.)

Meanwhile, there is still a lot of hard technical, social, and business enterprise work which needs to be done in order to realize those potentials. My advice: Invoice in ZEN whenever you have pricing power. Mine them, even when it is temporarily unprofitable, and do not sell, unless it is to create a new Horizen user. The main reason I have a job is so that I never, ever, need to net sell ZEN, no matter what happens to my other investments.

I could separate all problems into following:

- BTC is too powerful and for now all coin and projects are in the BTC shadow. BTC is currently in downtrend which is only one of the cycles on the market.
Nobody knows when reversal can occur, so far this is biggest down trend in BTC history, this could mean something I guess.
 
- Second, Privacy will become very important "problem" in the future, and projects that can solve majority of online privacy related problems,  will be  favouritised by the market this is sure. I think that Horizen is on the right road regarding this.

- Third and most important, Survivors will be stronger and will focus on most important aspects within projects and will start with very rational politics of spending funds in the future. This will ultimately lead toward better efficiency. (We had the opportunity to watch ICO tower of the cards falling down because they just don't have a clue how they should spend collected funds.)

Nodes are phenomenal technology but cannot be used only for cutting of coins in circulations..They must have real life usage and as in case of Horizen, whole privacy platform will leverage node structure,  nodes will be rewarded for every involvement. This way nodes are becoming real part of projects not only the speculative one.

I used Satowallet for months, and honestly, it is a very good platform.
It's good to see Horizen there with some different trading pairs, including some fiat trading pairs.
I suggest Horizen team to ask Satowallet adding Dogecoin trading pair for Horizen.

Q1 UPGRADES
We have two upgrades scheduled for Q1.

• Our first upgrade will tackle a command line user console, ledger seed phrase restore, and bug fixes.
• Our second update will focus on ease of use for our community and our node operators. The update will include some awesome UI improvements, messaging system speed improvements, transaction history with historical prices, as well as additional minor improvements.

For our node operators, the update will incorporate batch withdrawal and batch split, and node monitoring.
