Regarding the security issue, I don't need to sign or enter a pin when using my credit card for transactions under $100.  Is that secure do you think?  It's definitely convenient.
Just food for thought, maybe WDC is suitable for many small transactions rather than a few large ones.

Check the spelling of the conf file. It should be worldcoin.conf and be in the same directory as the wallet.dat

Client doesn't connect, tried everything in the book.
With addnodes, port forwarded, no addnodes, cleared it all, etc...

"Out of sync" coin would be a better name.

Does anybody have the same problem?
I have two 7970, and I have 1350 khash with all scrypt based coins, but I have 1050 khash with WDC. I use the same GPU and memory clocks, cgminer 3.1.1, catalyst 13.4. Here is my cgminer values - --shaders 2048 --thread-concurrency 8192 -I 13 -g 2 -w 256.
Thanks

Guys chill and wait a while, it seems WDC QT client random has connection to the network or not.

Well a lesson learnt for me, I lost 5 WDC to BitGrenade by Vipah, because I bought a grenade but its waiting for comfirmation timer timed out just before I got the needed comfirms. Sad(((

When you want a coin to gain popularity, client should work out of the box.
I have a client for every shit-/scamcoin available on my rig and they all get 8 or more connections, except for "WorldCoin"...

Be glad you lost 5 WDC now... A lot of people become addicted to gambling, can happen to anyone... Clinics are full of them...

Something is not right with the windows qt build. I've added nodes in the .conf file and I've added nodes via the command line but when I check the error log all I see is it trying the same 3 default ip addresses over and over, not any of the ip address nodes I've added manually.

I had the client open for a good 6 hours yesterday evening and didn't get a single connection. Something is not right. See my post above.

Ah the thing was I lost not because I gambled, because the site owner decides that after u say u want to buy a grenade, the timer starts ticking in which you must pay to the address, if you paid to the address and it comfirms after the timer runs out, which means you lose your payment.

its like you go to buy a lottery ticket, but payment is requested first, after you pay the seller, he kicks you out of the place. Which means losing your money before anything even started Sad

There are hundreds of people using this, there is nothing wrong with the client. As test just then I downloaded the Windows client onto one of my mining machines from the official site worldcoin.in and launched it, took about 2min to find 4 active connections and it's happily downloaded the block chain now. I don't have a .conf file at all.
