Not so!! WDC is listed on Cryptopia and TradeSatoshi. It is also listed on NovaExchange which is closed temporarily for an upgrade but WILL return later in the year. |

The wallet is taking over a week to Synchronize. Can coins be sent and received while the wallet is synchronizing. Why is syncing on this wallet so slow?

I feel that both WDC and DGC are under attack. How is it possible that these 5 year old coins(AND AMONG THE FIRST) aren't on one of the leading exchanges ? You have 2 cryptocurrencies with a history almost as long as Litecoin, with active developers working on them along the whole long road, with updates and patches and yet.....it's like someone has an interest to keep them outside the knowledge of the masses. I know the same has been done in regards to other coins that had hidden DEEP financial potential. It looks like there is group of people ( like those, or precisely those, well, the representatives of those who control (un)real money.
Let's face it, who the bleep was satoshi nakamoto ? Not Seen Around.

to be honest i was waiting Worldcoin to boom, but it didnt
what are the reasons for such a big disappointment and fail
i like you hear others ideas about it, i dont believe it is a scam coin
This will only break when two things happen simultaneously: 1. Enough new investors become interested and buy the coin. 2. The old investors wishing to exit their positions are able to sell their coins, while the new investors absorb the selling. These two things push the price up. |

The main problem of WDC is that this coin has turned into a closed system for elected Asic miners. They mine coins and sell them. All other users just sit and wait for the pump to sell their coin balances. Now on the market there are coins which allow investors to receive a steady income from the purchased coins. Just look at POS and Masternode coins https://masternodes.online/ To receive daily income, you only need an old laptop. You do not need to buy Asic miners and mining farms, this is an open opportunity to earn money for any investor. Obviously, this is a more advanced technology, because it saves a huge amount of electricity and does not pollute the environment with hot air. Reforms were needed a year ago, when it became clear that the old WDC network is cluttered with garbage blocks and the blockchain has a gigantic size. Now this situation has become even worse, because it extracted less than half of the coins from the stated amount to 265 million. |

The biggest problem i see... and still have...
is the wallet.
i cant tell what version the Download will be...to even compare to my version to see if a new one would make it better.
I left it run a week last month. does it have to do that every time? (i've been holding some coins for a year or so.
buy a few here and there etc. some small mining.
wallet might be cool, if it would start, and let you DO things. (change settings etc) while it did the sync...
I dont really worry about the value overall, Just get the wallet working easier.
(i have a few coins that i have to say the same thing on. )
kinda miss my btc wallet. simple did it job, and thats it.

what version of wallet did you use for creating wallet.dat? If it is older you can try to install old version 0.8.6.2, let it sync and after that copy your wallet.dat file into the WDC data folder. Here you can read how to do it + link to zip with blockchain backup. This project seems to have been dormant for a long time now. Much as I would lie to see it revived, as I have been a WDC holder for a long time, there really does not seem to be much prospect of that happening. I would love to be proved wrong of course. |
