You paid $51 for almost $5000 worth of equipment dew to a bug on the payment system you converted the total from USD to JPY.. The conversion rate did not apply correctly as you are well aware!.

I also made you aware that a refund would be processed on Monday   (today)  Which it has been. But coingate payments take 24HR's to process.

You can contact coingate for conformation of there time frame for payments.

Please see below the email sent to the customer and the reason his order was cancelled..

We even phoned him on Sunday afternoon in Norway when we noticed the error in the order.

You were also aware that there was a flaw on the website that allowed you to place an order for a rather large value and pay only a very small amount.  While this was of course not your fault in any way you proceeded with the order anyway with no attempt to make us aware of the issue..

I think you need to calm down. You attempted to take 1000's of pounds worth of equipment via a bug on the website.

Your refund WILL be in your account as soon as it is processed from coingate.



We also removed your fake review from the website.

We have fixed the store issued also. We removed many conversion rates that were configured incorrectly that allowed you to place that large order and miss the conversion rate and be presented with the same value as USD but in JPY which left a short fall on your order of almost 1.8 BTC.  I asked you on the telephone if you would like your order held or cancelled, Which your response was to close the order and to make a refund.

Investex is pure scam, stay away. Don't make the same mistake as I did. My money is gone, be careful with yours!

Just to be clear, If your web site is broken then that's your problem. If the web page sells stuff for 5k Japanese Yen, then that's the price.
From my point of view: I was contacted and agreed on the refund, as I am a nice customer. I was told that the money is transferred back, later the same day during a phone call. Then received an Email that it will be on Monday morning. And.. now it's late Monday afternoon and there is still nothing going on! That's what makes it a scam.

As the OP did not mention the website url in the post, and I missed your signature for the correct one, just Searched by your business name in Google and the only site which came in the search result was the .com version.

I want to pull the trigger and buy some items from their website but stuff like your situation is making me very worrisome and hesitant. On top of that, there are also other aspects that worries me about their site/company also.

1. New site/company and they won't escrow.

2. No positive reviews yet. All I see is a negative one from the guy who used the exploit. And currently, chdanish's order is delayed for a week without any sort of communication.

3. Stock photos are used instead of the actual product in hand with a tag to help prove that they actually have it.
3a. The detail information about the merchandise were literally copy & pasted from the original product's website. At least put some effort? or am I just being too picky?

4. Company seems a bit unprofessional. Website isn't finished, twitter just spams about giveaway, YouTube videos seems like it was done with no effort, etc.

I have sent them a ticket with several questions. Hopefully I get an answer that will somehow persuade me to purchase some items from them.
