I'm looking for a good bitcoin marketplace where I can sell some odds and ends (boxing gloves, a bass guitar, etc), the kind of stuff you might put up on craigslist. I've been bouncing down the sites on this list ( https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Trade#Material_products), but not many actually seem to be getting a lot of action. What is the best marketplace site out there for selling used goods for bitcoin? |

never used "craiglist" but I'm guessing it's similar to kijiji?
A local listing of items to buy and sell with bitcoin, let's make it happen!
(i 'spose you could just offer up your items on either of these established listings for payment in bitcoin, but a dedicated site would be preferable)

It's not local, but there's biddingpond.com which lets you sell random stuff. More like ebay than craigslist. Want to make the next craigslist?

You can place the items on Craigslist and tell them you accept bitcoins.  |

Why not use Ebay...you can state that you accept Bitcoin and the buyer and the seller get confirmation of payment...or just use craigslist(someone already stated this, but I'm re-emphasizing)...

Why not use Ebay? Because Ebay owns paypal and paypal already recognizes bitcoin as a direct competitor to be squelched. I'd be surprised if your bitcoin-accepting ebay listings don't get banned. |

Why not use Ebay? Because Ebay owns paypal and paypal already recognizes bitcoin as a direct competitor to be squelched. I'd be surprised if your bitcoin-accepting ebay listings don't get banned. They can try and ban the listings but there are far too many ways to get around that...let'em try! |
