EDIT: Payza withdrawals went through tuesday night.

ORIGINAL POST:

Has anyone gotten any withdrawals from CAvirtex lately?

They are not responding to support tickets nor processing any withdrawals as far as I can tell...

They are an old and established exchange. I don't think they scam but who knows...

They supposedly sold a whole bunch of "shares" recently for a lot of money, so there was already some worry they would take all that "invested" money and run. Looks like they have taken all the money on the exchange too maybe, just left the site running maybe to give them some time. No one seems to have heard from the management or staff, at least one other person hasn't received withdrawals, and no one claims to have received any since last week sometime...

Withdrawals to Payza just went through. So they were just backlogged/slow not run off with the money.

Just to chime in,
Friday May 3, 2013 I put in a bank transfer to withdraw and I got it completed on the 7th. I have no idea about the management situation there but I'm going to be checking out LibertyBit since their fees are 0.5% vs starting at 3%.

Hi mattyrain. What deposit method were you using?

Processing direct online deposits from your bank takes 3-5 business days. We are unfortunately at the mercy of the banks in this regard.

Online payments can also take from 3-5 business days, but are often be processed a bit quicker.

Making cash deposits in-person at the Bank of Montreal is still the fastest method of deposit. Funds are processed same day.

Note: We are diligently looking for ways to streamline depositing and withdrawing. Our challenge, of course, is navigating our bureaucratic banking system.

CAVIRTEX is Canada's #1 Bitcoin exchange with over 90 million CAD traded in our 3 years of operations. Visit https://www.cavirtex.com.
