Transfer from Coinbase, Coinbase deducted the amount, not showing in my wallet!

Hi all,

I did a few transactions today from my Coinbase BTC Wallet to Electrum. A few of them went fine, but twice the bitcoins disappeared!

First time, I scanned the QR code for the receiving address from my Electrum watch-only wallet and when I was confirming the purchase on Coinbase the app froze for a second, so I pressed send twice. Coinbase deducted the amount as if there were two transactions, my wallet registered only one, only one was registered in blockchain and coinbase now also shows only one transaction. But the bitcoin balance is as if there were two transactions!!

Second time, I scanned the QR code and Coinbase deducted the amount, shows transaction is pending on Coinbase in my internet browser. Coinbase app for iOS however does not show the pending transaction, blockchain did not register it and neither did the wallet! Again it seems Coinbase reduced my balance without actually sending coins through!

Please can someone help? How can I retrieve the bitcoins?

This sounds like a service problem with Coinbase. Contact Coinbase's support for help; people here likely cannot help you.

It is really hard to analyze what went wrong with your transactions, is there any transaction hash on your Coinbase account? Blockchain.info does have error in their system sometimes and that may be one of the reason that you are unable to search for that transaction hash, try using Blockcypher and check again, if there is a transaction hash on your missing bitcoin, try posting it here, and I will try to accelerate that transaction for you.

Hi tena_zg did you tried to contact coinbase support already? maybe you can update us here on what's going on your part if your problem was solved by them or still not. If yes, maybe you can share it to us here.
