Iam new to the Market and I own alot of smaller Coins and read alot about new ICOs. I will participate in every ICO i think that it is worth it with about 100+ $. I believe this is a good strategy and i will see if it pays out by the end of the Year  Lips sealed

But my Main Coin are still BTC and ETH. I bought some BTC back in 2015 as an Long Term investment, but now i want to gamble a bit  Grin

2015 the price was very less that time how many coins you bought mate? i think you can make a good profit by selling those coins at present rate. i will not suggest you to lose your coins in gambling. If you like to gamble then buy some altcoins and play. After losing bitcoins earning back is very tough.

Have a Portfolio of around 40 Altcoins at the moment. But it takes a lot of work to keep the portfolio up to date.

As for now my portfolio was divided into 3 parts. I have coins for long term, mid term and day trading. So the coins that I hold depends on how many am I willing to take risk. But for long term it does not make any problem. That is for BTC and ETH. For my mid term, usually take 1-2 weeks, are NEO, OMG and XRP. I think they have the best possible coins to have a great return in just a short span of time. For daytrading, I usually monitor 2-3 coins per day. And then I just take profit whenever it hits around 5-6%.

I own a lot of the good ones among the popular ones, and a lot of the good ones among the lesser known but promising alts. Over time you get a good understanding of what the worthwhile projects are and where to sort the wheat from the chaff.

I have a bunch of bags from back in the day, but in terms of current investment I hold 6 coins I care about.

Mostly Ether, Litecoin, and Bitcoin because they are mainstream and not going anywhere. Bitcoin is the main player and not going anywhere. Litecoin is a great test network for experimental crypto technology before it gets adopted by bitcoin and is also a huge player. Ether was one of the first succesfull smart contract platforms and now is a big player after widespread adoption and usage.

Some Neo because I want to write smart contracts in C# and other languages.

Some OmiseGo because it is being developed for an already standard payment platform which is pretty popular in places.

Sia because decentralized storage is an awesome idea and it was low when I bought it - so many people are out there have hard drive space but we are paying centralized cloud servers rediculous amounts to host data.

Next I am looking at Oyster next - another decentralized storage technology but actually ends up paying tokens to website owners based on the revenue users generate by lending processing and space when they use the site.  It is meant to replace advertising as a way of funding web infrastructure and monetizing website visits.

Expect that type of returns with most airdrops from names that aren't well established. It's a free way for companies to try and promote themselves. Hopefully it didn't require too much work to get them.

In terms of your portfolio being down 30 percent. Don't worry and try not to succumb to overtrading. Even though I wouldn't touch one of those coins, continuing to hold them will get you out of the negative with patience.

You know, I think it is my fate. I have bought Eth at 320 euro, then it went at 250 euro. Then I exchanged it for the fork for bitcoin at 5200; bottom line now ether is going up and bitcoin down. And who know if, when and at what value I might get the bitcoin gold!

It is interesting that you are not even holding a single bitcoin, especially with the hard forks coming that are going to give you free coins, is there some reason for this? Do you think the price is too high or do you have another reason to not invest in bitcoin.

Yes, you have a good point on this. So, it is recommended to have less than 10, wallet issue and also hard to manage over 100 coins on hand.
