There are many cryptocurrencies in which you can invest, such as Golem, Litecoin, Ripple, NEM and Bankers(BNK). All of these except Litecoin are costing less than 1 dollar.

pls who will ever care about the single coin cost and nor about market cap? The mcap is everything, it would only make sense if you could not buy a fraction of a coin
