Bitcoin have a huge value now of 2700$ and i don't see it going any higher (not on a astronomic way atleast)
i don't see it goes X10 or X20 higher like it used to be before. it doesn't make sense.
on the other hand i can see Altcoin get a X10 20 and even X200 higher.
last year altcoins such as Ethereum and Dash were very less. and look now..
it's the time to invest in altcoin IMO
IOTA and Ethereum clasic for example
We can't even tell how far bitcoin will go. But, just look how it started, it started with just less than a dollar and it even grew up to $2000. I think that it's not impossible to grow even more. And, how can it not make sense for BTC to grow even higher? Can you please show how you came up with this idea? |

You cannot tell never when it comes to bitcoin,it is just a beginning and look at the price now and the growth bitcoin had in a very short period this year,and just imagine what the price will be when majority of the countries start legalizing bitcoin,you will see another rally more than you could expect from his situation and that is not the case with the rest of the alt coins. |

I don't think people realize:
1. Bitcoin is updateable
2. Bitcoin is being augmented with technologies
2a. Lightning networks for rapid micro payments
2b. Smart contracts via ColoredCoins and specialized sidechains (RSK, ETH) that can create a 2way peg with Bitcoin.
3. Bitcoin will only get easier to use as companies fill the need for Cryptocurrency <-> Fiat conversions, and more localbitcoin trades.
There is a good demographic of where Bitcoin stands compared to Gold, Fiat, Visa, etc, and it has not surpassed any of these yet (it is about 1/20th the way there to passing one).
1 BTC will be worth lots....We are breaking $3,000 USD. Without a doubt we will see sigmoid growth curve, where the adoption is slow, then grows exponentially and then tappers off.
This should be easy to estimate...someone just needs to plot some data and use some interpolation.

I still think bitcoin is a good investment and I think if you buy them at its current price you could still profit a lot from it if you go for long term. Just because of its split doesnt mean it is going down, and I will be waiting for bitcoin to go to the moon by next year. Hold on to them still and wait for it to moon.

Exactly. This fork means nothing...Patience is key here. The 8mb increase is ridiculous, when we will get a better technological outcome for Bitcoin. People just wanted to rush this. |

None of us know that's why we signed up to join this forum and exchange ideas. I am holding my OG Bitcoin and that is that. I am holding until I see it hit 50K or more in a few years. If it does not happen then, whatever. It was a risk I took. Life is just a big risk at the end of the day.

Why would you say bitcoin is not a good investment?  I think this is the best time to invest on it. Now bitcoin is low, it can reach $4k at the end of the year. altcoins are good to, you can make good money, there is a lot of people in this forum that trades with alts and had earned a lot of money  |

Yes bitcoin is still a good investment even you bought at the current price btc will increase this year. This is my speculation of bitcoin, Im holding my bitcoin until now because I know I can earn profit for the long term. |

Yes bitcoin is still a good investment even you bought at the current price btc will increase this year. This is my speculation of bitcoin, Im holding my bitcoin until now because I know I can earn profit for the long term. Bitcoins are much better than any other digital coin. Especially for the long term investments, bitcoins should be used as their pumping phase is quite stable and of higher price. Bitcoins can never ever be useless as an investment since they are rulers of the crypto market and getting popular day by day. |

the way you put it doesnt make sense, its always a risk/reward thing
btc is here 2 stay and the biggest of them all so lower risk, but ofc it wont give you 100-10000% returns
$pie for example may give you 1000% but it could also die or disappear, if you want huge gains you have 2 take higher risk
