Yes, we could take over MTNC and get rid of the developer with a fork. But we would need a new developer. Without a developer no con can survive.

Its been a good airdrop community project until the dev goes MIA from time to time after airdrop #4 and the community loses interest on his coin project.

If you want to find somebody to take this over you would also have to pay him or offer him some advantages like a small pool you gather as a community.

It is almost the time to seriously think of community take over.
However, the biggest problem is since the start, it seems that the MTNC project is a single-made project, only ideaupdater has full control of MTNC.
Some months ago, in 2017 or 2018, I remembered that ideaupdater stated that he planned to hire more members for the team.
No one knows beside that guys, there are others members or not, and whether they have access to premined and some essential stuffs of MTNC project.

This happens when the dev already reach his profit goal in the project, he made good money in the last 2017 bull run and can already give a good life in his lifetime. leaving all the investors dry and all community members hanging in the air.

Maybe, he now or recent months started or joined other new projects.
It is much better and easier to start with new projects, both money making and less efforts to manage new projects.
Generally, it is my standpoint, but I don't judge what's going on with MTNC.

Yes anything is possible, The dev could easily choose to abandon this project and launch another one.

Maybe fixing MTNC Project is less profitable and launching a new one is his best options to make money

I think you are right, I thought about it too. When Cryptopia was definitely closed he loosed all the rest off interest to this project.
No incentive no or minimal involvement like @eaupdater said by himself that the bear market is not the best time for any moves, even development.
I keep asking myself where are all these coins? Are all MTNC premined? From where staking and masternode awards are coming? What with coins form not paid airdrops?
If anybody can explain, please.

Cryptopia has been lively again, so there is hope that MTNC team will become actively again.
Let's see what will happen next few weeks, for MTNC project.

I don't want to sound selfish but I just knew that in coming months (some time ago) Cryptopia will be "hacked"  .
After so many hacks on all major crypto exchanges in the world, I just knew it that Cryptopia will be next and to be honest, I suspected this to happen a lot sooner.
We all know that exchanges do all want they want with deposited funds (invest, ICO's, arbitrage, trading, etc.) and many of them lost a lot of funds during the bear market and wrong investing in ICO's. This is so easy for them to cover their losses and get hacked once or twice.
This is just insane because they reopen immediately and nobody is suspicious about this. Even more, people are happy about it.
Of course, if you had your coins there, I understand that you are happy but please take Crytpopia explanations with a little bit of common sense and you will read between the letters a different story.

You checked the blocks and compared them to what exactly? There is no way anyone can tell which chain is right (if there is any...) at the moment because we don't have explorer or hardnodes IP. So staking is a waste of resources, because you may end up with all those rewards being reversed eventually. Another option is Cryptopia won't ever enable MTNC deposits (since the wallet was on maintenance before the hack) and you will never be able to sell those coins (unless ideaupdater will show up to assist them in sorting things up).

For me this is a dead project unfortunately, I still got some coins and wait what Topia will do, but I haven't got high hopes about it. Marked my bag as 0 so I won't be disappointed.

About doing community fork, I don't think it is a good idea. Beside not having any coders here in the thread, the fork would mean we would still got huge premined dev addresses with coins we can't touch. IMO it would be better to start a completely new project.

So yeah, I was here from the beginning believing in MTNC, but I really feel this is the end. Masternodecoin RIP.

With multiple chain currently present, there no way to know who is in the correct chain.

Everyone should cooperate and use the same seed node to have a uniform chain.
