Earlier the gambling industry is fully occupied by bitcoin, further with the growth of ethereum it got its importance and more gambling websites started to accept it into gambling. Further more altcoins gained its importance into gambling. Even now majority of the users prefer bitcoin.

Exactly, not many online casinos are accepting other cryptocurrencies than bitcoin, i think because they don't trust altcoins as much. I still remember that couple years ago, finding such online casino was really dreadful, more of them were accepting fiat money. Right now the popularity of cryprocurrencies if growing and also platforms based on blockchain technology are setting their offer not only for bitcoin users, but also for altcoins fans.

For me it is really interesting. Recently I've found Futurobet where I can use some of my BTC also smaller ones crypto like FTO

^ that was the advantage there when you are going to use Bitcoin in gambling, the price is expensive in Bitcoin and for sure it will be doubled your capital once you have won. Although Altcoins are good too I also prefer to use Bitcoin during in my gambling because doesn't need to trade other coins when I am going to convert fiat(dollars). It depends upon individual liking and disliking, if he is willing to play with btc even in the times of increased bitcoin prices. Although if the bitcoin price is increased, you will risk more money in gambling with same amount of btc which also mean that in case you win, you will be awarded more. 

Yes, I agree with you. That's why I don't like to use bitcoin for gambling because I think it will better to use bitcoin for trade or for withdrawing into fiat and for doing gamble, it is better-used altcoin to bets. We have many options of the altcoin in the gambling game, and we can choose the low price coin to bets, and we don't have to worry if somehow we are losing a big amount.

I see many coins around. Even a year ago there were some casinos accepting litecoin and dogecoin. As bitcoin is now really expensive and slow plus some people are afraid of tomorrow's segwit thing, I thought it would be interesting enough to create a poll and see how many people still gamble with bitcoin and are there many fans of other coins. I still using bitcoin and lite coin until now(though I only gamble limited because of other things to face than to risk money lol)
But I have seen or read many players are playing in Dogecoin since it’s more cheaper and easy to accumulate.

You can invest any type of currency in gambling and the result will based on your investment if you are invested they good altcoin then then it will definitely returns to you with good profit that is the simple theory here available for you.

Only play with currency which is worthless or else you may play with best and end up in losing that in bets and thus you also miss that money making opportunity which will happen during bull run. So understand that accordingly one should play .

But how can we use worthless currency?or just like playing play money that has no value and no winnings also?

Oftenly I use my old piles of altcoins for gambling, due to their value drop in recent months. Most of them were supposed to be successful projects, but majority of them turned out to be overhyped and right now their value is decreasing, so I don't regret using them for online gambling. Yas, sometimes its difficult to find a platform where you can use your altcoins, because majority of online casinos are favouring btc and most popular altcoins. The other difficulty is to find well secured platform, like for example. my favorite one right now is CryptoGamble, mostly because of their high-standard security.

The transaction fee has increased by anywhere from 10x to 15x during the last two weeks. So in case you are planning to make small bets, such as BTC0.005 or BTC0.010, then making the deposits using Bitcoin may prove a bit expensive. Nah a lot of people have that mindset. don't get me wrong im sure we would all love to bet away ETH or BTC in the hopes of making a profit but not all of us can financially support that, so we use the lower Altcoins and just enjoy the experience of it. you also have the fact that a lot of coin casinos do giveaways in the chat every 10 mins or so so you can take part and sometimes make a pretty penny, win-win imo.

that's why dogecoin created for it lol . it remind me with one of my favourite gambling site. Directbet, that's my favourite gambling site. we can gamble with doge and other alt. but these site has been closed and until now i can't find other site like directbet

I never really played or even knew about directbet but i could recommend a site called casino royale if you havent heard of it already, im not affiliated with it, i just genuinely think its a really good site, nice active chat with plenty of chat games and more than enough altcoins and a pretty generous faucet.

I never tried with altcoins because I do not feel that is much convinient like bitcoin. May be we can consider etherem next to BTC for gambling or any purposes. Other tradable altcoins not worth to use in gambling sites.

Maybe you should try so you will compare gambling with bitcoin and altcoins.
When it comes to convenience, altcoins is better for me as the transaction fee is very cheap, but choose only those alts with liquidity.

Yes, you are right completely depending upon the altcoin we choose because most of the people will choose to gamble with BTC only because they might make a higher amount if the won the gambling, but with the recent increase price of the Bitcoin makes many people to start gambling with other altcoins where the transaction fee of those coins will be low.

That's correct as no gambler would allow themselves to pay a high transaction fee every time they send bitcoin to a certain gambling sites.
If there is an option where they can trade their altcoins to bitcoin, they would surely take advantage on it.
Maybe they just need to be aware that things like this is possible, and it's very helpful to gamblers like us.
