I would gamble using altcoin but I see no difference if I ever pick other than bitcoin. The value will still be the same but I feel others will pick other altcoins because for some people btc is very valuable to be used in gambling.

There's actually a bit difference because Altcoins confirm faster and they come with very low transaction fees. That's what makes it ideal for gambling in recent times. You can save quite something substantial if you gamble with them and later convert them into bitcoins.

I usually gamble with those free coins on yobit and simply dice it them. I have read this tip before here on forum and I just tried it recently, it's like unlimited gambling but it's only good for those people that doesn't into profit but just want to enjoy dice game since it is freecoins, don't expect too much with it.

But mostly gamblers like to play gambling with their bitcoins, the reason if we win then we get more bitcoin, and online gambling sites easily accept bitcoin than other altcoin. But if you are playing gambling with free coins it is also save way from your lose of bitcoin.

That is an interesting way to look at it, in fact I do the opposite, when bitcoin gets very high in price I do not gamble with it since I prefer to hold it, and if the price gets lower I get a little loose on the way I use bitcoin and that includes gambling a little bit with my bitcoin.

sometimes even when you gamble with alt coin you will have to accept the value of your alt coin get dropped so low. and that time you will feel like you have wasted time playing as your value remain the same with the previous amount before the winning .

you have to know about this risk , it is like having a double risk at once.

Yes I agree. It's just sad that most betting sites are only accepting bitcoin as a way to gamble in their platform. It's rare for me to see gambling sites that use a wide range of coin variety (one good example is crypto-games.net). I guess there is really a hard task in maintaining and handling altcoins for gambling, since there are many factors to consider like wallet availability and chain status.

Yeaaaa i think what the casino really consider is about the altcoin network stability.
When it has poor network , poor support leading to scam or disappeared worthless they won't accept it anytime.

The belief changes depending on how the market is moving, at the beginning of the year when altcoins were very bullish then no one wanted to gamble their altcoins, now that bitcoin is the one that is hot then no one wants to gamble with their bitcoin because they get the felling that it still has some room to grow before the end of the year.

I think it doesn't affect all gamblers. They are gambling with Bitcoins because they can't or don't want to gamble with fiat. So they convert their money into Bitcoin to gamble and when they want to cashout they just convert it to fiat again. I think they aren't very worried about Bitcoin price and AltCoins, they just want to find an alternative way to play as they can't use fiat to do it. I would risk saying most gamblers who play big think this way...

But if one doesn't have altcoins then it is not so smartness to send coins to exchange to convert altcoins for gambling instead they can directly send it to gambling site to gamble. But if you want to gamble with the very small amount then yes bitcoin transaction fees are quite high and it takes a long time to confirm. If you have altcoins in your wallet then use them to gamble save some money in transaction fee otherwise no.

Well, using bitcoin in playing gambling is such a big time amount today, well if you want to gain big time winning much more better use bitcoin for easy big time winning while alts is good too but it is not that too big and you can also gamble small amount through it. Gambling altcoin actually is fit with people who want to hold that coin. But in real meaning, we're losing money in both ways .Owning some altcoin has their own fun. Like etherum is an example, for now etherum is a good currency to gamble cause the price is going to be crazy after the hard fork.

Why are going to low value ICO because its value does not matter to us but top altcoin list will be good option to invest still in gambling and many platform. Nowadays many sites gives option to pay with BCH, ETH and more altcoins. If altcoin is being then new get doubled soon.

bitcoin fees always be the main problem apparently because this is the effect from bitcoin price then automatically the fees also will high too and gambling with altcoin is good to decrease the fees amount because Doge or LTC have low amount for each transactions but regarding the options not much online gambling sites who accepting altcoin and normally if there is new gambling sites announced most of them will use bitcoin and altcoin is not their main option
