If you believe in ETH, then hold (for years). The price will continue to increase. A drop from $400 to $200 isn't much really, when you think it's not so long ago that ETH was $10. No coin rises continuously without ever falling back. Plus the reason for the recent drop was much more because of bitcoin than anything else, and it affected the whole market.

Good advice for almost any of the more serious alts. They're all in good, reasonable entry prices now - even ETH. It's very likely to reach its ATH again so if you get in now, you stand to make double if you are patient. If you want to gamble, use cheap eth to buy even cheaper ICO tokens. There are so many of them around. But not recommended as investment!

The only way is if you hold your ethereum coins or if you trade your coins. Both possibilities. It´s not easy to trade, you need to know about it. If you don´t know, I recommend you to HOLD your coins.

The best suggestions is  that hold them for a while, ETH price will surely increases and that will earn you a reasonable profit. Pumping and dumping is very common in cryptoworld so don't you worry about the low price.

My advise would be,if you find a really good project ,then you should invest your coins in it, i am pretty sure you will multiply your coins ten fold if the project is really good and that is my opinion as i have made some good money with the investments in the past and i think stox is a good one with a lot of buzz.

If you want to trade, then holding half and trading half isn't a bad idea. There are different types of trade though. You can trade every day regardless of the state of the market, or you can hold most of the time and just trade when a prolonged pattern has established - like the recent whole market dip, when trading ETH to USDT and back again could have doubled your quantity of ETH. I get that trading is addictive, and I've fallen prey to that myself, but in general it's always best to have a well thought out strategy with a solid basis.

If you really want to profit from the 40 Ethereum you have that's stagnant maybe you should divide your coin, I don't know if it'll work for you but mine did. I divided my Ethereum into two and half would go to trading; long term trading that is and the other half I invested it in some other coins.

eth is definitely NOT a currency.
and it was never meant to be a currency or used as one. it is a token that works on a platform which is designed for smart contracts and these smart contracts are supposed to use that token. even the developers have said it is not a currency!

when ETH switches to POS it probably will have a lot of troubles. because it will kill a good earning potential for many individuals who are currently mining with their PC at home. and that can harm its price greatly in my opinion.

Hey Red-Apple, Thank you for the answer but i still do not agree with you.
Basically cryptocurrency is not that different from tokens. Once tokens are issued by some enthusiastic developers group and someone bought it (or received for some job) and can trade them, it becomes cryptocurrency.
Or we can say like this,
Cryptocurrencies are tokens, that use special software that controls, their supply, rate of inflation and use a blockchain to make the network trusted. It’s the only and very significant difference.
So i think i can consider ETH as a cryptocurrency.

If you do purchase on a higher price compared on its current price then never ever sell your ETH and would really be much better if you do hold up for long term and for sure price will eventually go back up soon. Seems like you do purchase on the price while its being hyped up but well mistakes do really happen on trading. Just follow on what most people is saying here HODL would really be the best move you can make as of now.

If you think that ETH will increase more it's price in the future then that $235 to $195 is not a reason to give up your desires. Price decrease is normal in any cryptocurrencies and always remember that whenever price pumps it will be followed by a dump so this is normal as there is a thing called correction price.

The best option will still come from you. Make an analyzation of what you will do by compiling all the suggestions and speculations.
