Is this real?  i got email from admin bitcoin.co.id  we will get Bitcoin Cash for FREE. The amount BCH you get is equal to your Bitcoin balance at the time the split occurs (01 August 2017, 19:20 GMT+7).

BCH is a fork of bitcoin, so yes everyone who has BTC will get BCH too. As long as you control your own private keys, or have your coins on a exchange/wallet that supports BCH.

A lot of people have bought BTC recently for the purpose of getting free BCH, and we are going to see a lot of volatility from people selling their coins to realize the "free dividend". I expect most people are going to be unable to realize the gains due to people dumping coins in mass causing big price slippage on the exchanges.

Best to just hold and see what happens when the dust settles.

If you get the email it's official from them then it's real. But you must have bitcoin in your wallet or exchange, if you do not have bitcoin there then you will not get BCC.

I know some of Exchange not accept BITCOIN CASH (BCC) So if the exchanger not accept the BCC you will not  receive also BCC. unless you have a wallet that you control your private keys you will receive BCC equal the amount of your BTC . And the reason why BITCOIN go higher and higher many people buy BITCOINS cause they know we will receive BCC. So expect the dump price in august because they start selling BCC as a profit

New speculation  now is what's gonna happen after the first 2 weeks of circulation of bcc. Well I hope other altcoins won't be heavily affected by bcc.

It's hard to speculate the path of BCH/BCC. As it is supported by the largest bitcoin miner and we have seen pretty stable fork for both forked coins in ethereum.

Kraken and Bittrex are going to support the coin, but in long term I don't think the future of the coin is bright, I know why Kraken support the coin but not sure of Bittreex, it is better to dump your BCC for Roger Ver's BTC, he is just fighting a lost cause

It will likely just be a speculative toy as most services using bitcoin will not accept BCH after the fork.

If its not worth too much after the first swingy period it may be worthwhile stocking up on a few or hold what you get to see what happens (as long as it doesn't look like its dying).

BCC or is it BCH  is just another alt coin then, theres lots of them.   Its just this is a split from the main BTC chain, not sure thats happened before.   Otherwise I consider it like just another coin, some places take these little coins and some dont but the biggest sites will ignore it.


I guess Im right to say Mycelium controls private keys so this process would be easy like electrum

Several crypto holders are exchanging their alts into bitcoin when they know that all bitcoin holders are also given BCC for freel. But not all exchanges and wallets are doing the same. Some are even complaining about BTC being replaced with BCC. I don't know if there are several glitches with this fork.

I had my wallet on Coinbase/Gdax.. They said.. We are not planning to work with Bitcoin Cash.. 2nigths ago, I transferrd all coins to Kraken, so today after login, for my surprise I got same value in BCH and for my surprise++ that new coin goes up to 500$ ..

Yupp, BCH is going up. I kept my BTC, I had, to gain BCH. Now I hold both, BTC and BCH, for at least one year to see, what will happen.

I don’t really know if I would be investing more bitcoins for BCH, but as I’m seeing things, I might not do so. I’m OKay with the amount of bitcoin I have. So, if my wallet will support BCH, then I’m getting some, if not, I’m not ready to start searching for a wallet that does.

I am thinking of investing just a small amount but not yet. It is a coin that has no backbone, just copied out of thin air with a "dev team" that just editted the names in some files. The people who supported the coin were obvious scams and there are still a lot of people who want there free bcc.

I beleive when the price keeps falling there is a possibility that the miners will say it is not profitable enough and it will just vanish but that i can not tell for sure.

It is still at a pretty high value, so high that it is a disgrace for litecoin which has a backbone!

Most of the altcoins are just poor replicas of the original (Bitcoin). But the difference with Bitcoin Cash is that they even cloned the blockchain of Bitcoin. But nothing is certain in the field of crypto-currency. No one knows how far the BCH will go in the future. I would even claim that there is a very small chance of the BCH replacing BTC as the top crypto-coin in the future.

That is real if they accept bitcoin cash and distributes it on their users. In fact, many have dumped already their bitcoin cash including me but I haven't dumped all. I believe bcc would be a great coin to store value when bitcoin price is going down that's why I will keep it. I won't need to buy more bitcoin to get bch now because I already have a good enough balance on my wallet before fork.
