Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

the project is very interesting indeed, Vitalik is here too. Although I don't like this model of distribution as I do not trust 3rd parties collecting my selfies, passport scans...

I can see a lot of newbies asking for emails and slack accounts to get the white list, but I can not see the Ann thread here, why?

Some solid projects don't have an announcements in here lately. It's quite understandable though Wink

if there is a coin you have investigated and reviewed it. I guess you do not have to hesitate to invest.
investment is a trust that will produce something.
of course must be based on assessment, observation and knowledge.
I hope this helps.

Because any good project where Vitalik involved not here on Bitcointalks.

Just buy it on EtherDelta when trading starts. It will be still cheaper than anywhere else. Than it will be added on other exchange with price rise.
Learn how EtherDelta works now, because it will take some time.
