Bribing people to vote?? That is really pathetic.

Didn't work, WDC and DGC are powering away from GLD in the voting.

If you look at the value of all the GLD mined so far in USD, it would barely add up to a decent mining rig.

I mean seriously 0.00000886 BTC it's going for on Cryptsy

That's 0.00000886 x $128 or $0.00113408 or 882GLD to get a dollar coin. Can this even cover electricity?

I've just voted for GLD and not because I want free GLD, but because of all of the listed coins in that vote I think it stands the best chance of being successful in the long term, perhaps even more so when it makes it onto more exchanges.

Here's my GLD address anyway: DxXpdyqJ2jZXzN72mXZYNuvUF7Z9n17dHT

GLDCoin - a lite version of Litecoin using scrypt as a proof of work scheme.

    2.5 minute block targets

Block rewards in order:

    200 Block @ 10000 GLD
    2000 Blocks @ 1000 GLD
    24000 Blocks @ 500 GLD
    22500 Blocks @ 400 GLD
    125000 Blocks @ 200 GLD
    500000 Blocks @ 100 GLD
    ~100 million total coins

Classic pump and dump! 2mill coins from the first 200 blocks, how can anyone take this coin seriously.

Dump them on me if you have them please ..I am a sucker for this kind of thing ! Money to burn.

yeah, I noticed that it was up today on my site today.  I just set up a site the other day that shows coin values and profitability for your hardware hash rates.  It's a new site, so, I'm open to comments and suggestions!

It's not GLD that rising, WDC just passed it on Coinchoose, and the price of GLD on Cryptsy has fallen by over 10% in the last hour.

Markets fluctuate all the time, its risen 100% since this morning. A 10% drop is nothing.

Yes, that is the sensible view.

Of course any alt. coin may never make it. Just a matter of balancing risk/reward ratio.

The people who complain about exchange price are misguided IMO. A lot of coins should not be on exchanges yet because they are too young to be priced properly.

I like to watch my 55.55 sendings confirm: They are averaging 1 confirm per minute today.

FTC and CNC took 12 hours to get 6 confirms today.

Indeed. I've been having a few client sync. issues, so decided to send keen GLDcoin thread posters in this forum a PM with my addnode address as well.

It helps to make the network stronger. Thanks.

With regards to firewalls and security I would recommend http://www.peerblock.com/ and http://www.iblocklist.com/lists.php blocklists.
