I had some amount of NEO in NEON wallet .. i check it now, i do it probably once a week, and i dont see my NEO ( NEO 0, US $0.00), but amount of GAS is still rising... so i assume this is only some bug in wallet, i dont have latest version..
Do you think this is my problem or my NEO has been stolen?

It was due to older version of wallet ... I updated it and now i see my Neo

Don't hold it at the exchange. I held half of my Antshares at Bitrex for the time the coin was launched and basically lost half of my Gas to them. Unless they some day decide to give us back our Gas.

you need the NEON (https://github.com/CityOfZion/neon-wallet/releases) wallet. on this wallet you can send your tokens and generate automatically GAS

NEO is not a Ethereum-based Token, NEO is a completely different Blockchain! But I hope someday we will see a similar service like Myetherwallet for NEO and hopefully it will be supported by a hardware wallet like Ledger Nano S in the near future, that would be really great for security reasons and the price will also pump.

If you already have a backup of your private key, then nothing happens to your coins. you should read your wallet documentation, before you do anything.
