Mining Rig zcash for max 1 233$

I'm just about to build my first Mining rig and my budget is maximum of 1233$.

Can someone help me build a profitable rig? Currently I’ve SSD disks, monitors etc that I dont need to buy. basically all I need to buy is, GPU, RAMS, Power supply, motherboard. The site I am using is: https://www.dustin.se/group/hardware/computer-components/

You already have these components?

To keep it short, you want:

1 x cheapest CPU possible (the one you selected is fine)
1 x cheapest 4GB RAM (not 8GB).

You have selected only 2 GPU but the mobo is capable of 6 GPU which is good for expansion but then your PSU is too small. So you should get a larger PSU or a smaller and cheaper motherboard which has 2 x PCI-e x 16

Your PSU is okay but the CS series are the lowest tier that they do and aren't really for mining 24/7. Have a look at the HX/AX from Corsair also EVGA G2/P2 are very good.

Don't cheap out on your PSU as you will seriously be changing it out in a few months if you do, a really really shit PSU can also cause a fire.

As for your GPU the 1060 are efficient cards but be careful buying at todays inflated prices as there may be a slide soon.

Keep in mind that you'll be running this rig 24/7, so as ccccccc7 said, the PSU(s) are definitely not something to skimp on. For your first rig, I'd stick with well-known PSU brands such as EVGA, XFX, Corsair, Seasonic, etc.

1060s are a pretty a good choice for Zcash. I started picking up some of the 3GB versions when Newegg was selling them for $219 two days ago. They are quite efficient for their power use as well.

A high-quality 750W PSU should be fine for 3 1060s. If you're thinking about expanding to 4-5, I'd look into getting a second PSU, or just getting a better one right now. The current PSU you selected would do okay, but is rather expensive for the power it provides. Unless you really want to have an 80+gold modular PSU, I'd go with something like

For Ethereum, make sure you keep buying cards that have plenty of graphics RAM. 2GB cards are essentially obsolete for Ethereum mining (there's some tricks you can pull to load the DAG in chunks, but it's generally not worth it), and it's only a matter of time before 3GB cards are also unusable for Ethereum mining.

Zcash is generally a good choice for Nvidia cards, so you'll want to take a look at both once you get an idea of the mining performance of your individual cards on various algorithms.

That's all speculation. You'll have to do your own analysis based on Ethereum prices, your expectations on difficulty changes, your electricity costs, etc. I can't be certain that you'll ever earn back the money you spend on this rig, or if what you end up getting will be greater than if you just bought crypto with your $1233 and sold it later.

Of course, I mine, but power is cheap where I am and I'm in it for the long haul.
