Is there any site that gives the current difficulty and the speed of the BC network out in json? im looking for the stats found at the top of http://bitcoincharts.com/markets/ in json?

Don't know about json but this might help:

try http://blockexplorer.com/q

http://blockexplorer.com/q/getdifficulty for current difficulty

Perhaps the nethash query to get the current hash rate although it gives a lot of extra data that you probably don't want.

I just need the total hashing speed of everything? any idea where I can find that?

http://bitcoin.sipa.be/speed-3D.txt gives the current estimated network hash speed in GH/s, extrapolated from blockchain information using a 3-day window.

I do Bitcoin stuff.
