What editor are you using?

Wordpad the best choice,i think.
Notepad sometimes, but this is not the best.

The default intensities that Alexis78 use are much higher than other ccminer forks, you can try lowering them but from my experience changing over to ccminerTpruvot has been the most stable with minimal drop in hashrate (<5%).

Thank you guys. Great pointers in the right direction Smiley

I guess different cards in the same machine works on alexis but not the same type.. not only me having a issue whit this.
Random if alexis uses 4 gpus ,5, 2 etc. No crash or any thing like that, you can restart a few times then it suddenly picks up all cards.

Notepad++ works on your files, not notepad in windows.

Is there any way to prevent the continuous evaluation of hash rates for use in valuing options, rather than just the pass at the start.

I am seeing cases where one or more pool is somehow triggering an evaluation of speed that is orders of magnitude higher than it actually is

I am using MPH, Hash Refinery, Zpool, YIIMP am an seeing the problem occasionally with NIST5, Skein & X17 and the perceived hashrate jumping up to the 17 G range (5 x 1070 - real speed should be about 2.5G) which is nearly 10 times too high

Am not sure yet if it reverts to lower values and why it misinterprets the rate anyway, or whether its 1 pool that is causing the problem

At least if i had control of when it evaluated the hash rate i can visually scan them for sensible values before leaving the rig to work

Can we have something like this:

Quote
If any wants to have less frequent switch you should change DecayBase in the main miner.ps1 (nemosminer.ps1, multiminer.ps1,....)

from:
Code:
$DecayBase = 1 - 0.1
to:
Code:
$DecayBase = 1 - 0.01

Quote from @aaronsace  of multiminer on github:
Quote
It's the percentage that it decreases the switching threshold. It will switch less and when it does they are more likely to be stable coins compared to just increasing the interval.

But keep in mind, Dont set sync interval high, Zpool updates the api around 3 minutes, so keep yours below that.
I set mine to 120 sec.
You might feel weird at first when seeing a coin goes to top and no switch, but I think its better this way.

Or maybe the option to change the profitability to 24h instead of current?

Hmm ! Somehow ended with a SINGLE 1070 pc on neoscrypt hashing at 4.3M (NVIDIA-TPruvot) which is way over the normal rate of 8-900K
If i reset the stats cash it retests properly .. until next time !!!

I'd definitely like to turn continuous re-assessment of hash rate off until we are clear that the parsing of the output is solid

My single 1070 just got "stuck" at 357M for hmq1725 - the real score is nearer 3.7M (low intensity as its my main PC)

There are no log files visible showing me the output at the time (I was away) so i can't check the parsing mistake (NVIDIA-TPruvot) on ZPOOL

5x1070 showing X17 @ 75+M when a more realistic hash rate is around 50M (NVIDIA-Alexis78)

Each time i reset stats and it drops to appropriate levels

Would you please add a sample start.bat for "CROSSED BETWEEN POOLS ETHEREUM+DECRED, ETHEREUM+LBRY, ETHEREUM+PASCAL, ETHEREUM+SIACOIN" mining with selected pools?
Possible to mine dual based on whattomine with only suprnova ?
I know sprnova dont have sia, so we gonna have 3 dual mode with different dci

is this correct :

Code:
-MiningMode Automatic -PoolsName suprnova -Coinsname Eth,lbc, psc, dec

Tutulfo, hopefully you can help me get on the right track! I'm basically trying to set up a custom install and I'd like to know if this is possible or not....

First I modify config.txt, no problem there.

About the miners:

Can I copy & paste the whole folders I already have for the miners? Instead of having it download from their Githubs? Making sure name match. Looking to only use:

EWBF for Equihash, ClaymoreETH for Ethash (including UBIQ) no dual needed, CCminer Klaust (812 now out) for Neoscrypt, MYR-GR and groestl and the CCminer - Skunk (for Skunk-Signatum).

Only four miners and I'm also making sure to define in the json file which algorithm I want each miner to work with.

About the benchmarking process:

Because I'm not interested in mining many algorithms, would it be possible to set the benchmarks manually? Just write them down like we do in whattomine.com?

For values, I only want it to get them from WhatToMine_Virtual.* Most profitable based in current difficulty and current profit. Don't worry about what the pools say.

About the pools:

Want to use MPH for ETH, ZCash, ZClassic, Groestlcoin, FeatherCoin and DGB-Groestl. And Suprnova for Hush, Ubiq, ZENcash, KMD and Signatum.

*In case that's not possible, I'm ok with just having it select the most profitable between the set of coins I chose from MPH and Suprnova.

This Frankestein version of MegaMiner (Compact) possible? Open to suggestions!

I flipped the Miner list to ASCENDING profit

When running multiple pools the list of candidates easily exceeds 1 page so it scrolls off and you cant see the most important candidates - the top 10 or so

Flipping the sort to ascending allows a relatively small height with all the important info to hand

I also rolled the current miner into the historic miners, but kept Status as a sort precedent to make the list more compact

Just a proposal really - not sure its best for most but for me its invaluable

Another tweak i use - introducing MSIAfterBurner profile changes to switch the appropriate profile (I have all NVIDIA)

e.g. In Miners i invoke EthDcrMiner64.cmd which contains the following
Code:
title %*
"C:\Program Files (x86)\MSI Afterburner\MSIAfterburner.exe" -profile1
"C:\crypto\Megaminer.new\Megaminer-3.1\Bin\Ethash-Claymore\EthDcrMiner64.exe" %*

I have profile1 for memory intensive overclock (Ethereum), and profile5 for GPU clock specific (the rest)

So i have a cminer.cmd in each allowing me to add the relevant Afterburner profile swap

Overall this affords me 10%+ additional performance without any loss of stability

DecayBase not used in this compilation, if you want less switches must set interval to greater value.

Next release add 24h mode.

is this correct :

Suprnova cant run on Automatic mode, need some source of statistics.

You can copy Whattomine_virtual.json file to "Suprnova_virtual" or similar and delete Yiimp and MPH sourcecode (it is prepared for this), this makes a new Pool with Suprnova servers and autoswitch based on whattomine.

Dualmining is automatic, when on pools selected exists both coins (each one can be of different pool) and exist a miner with that algo MM activates it.

Drci is configured on miners files

In each release I say if files are compatible with last version, sometimes you can, sometimes not.

You can use parameters on start batch to limit algo/coins and not edit miners file.

This version has a little complicated stats file (but you can set manually), next release has easier files to do what you say.

If you want use Suprnova on auto mode must be with Whattomine statistics (see previous post)

To "simulate" not always hashrate is maximum, benchmark hashrate is always 95% of maximum reached speed (running or benchmarking)

Very interesting!
"Miners"-  it is directory MINERS in MM or a part some  data code in some file?
"cminer.cmd in each" - that means you have cminer.cmd file for each miner?
Can you tell us step-to -step manual how we can add this feature to MM?
