Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

How can I add a pool clone from suprnova to the currency Verge? I want to just monitor the amount of mined coins and the conversion into btc and usd. This coin is not listed in the WTM, I do not think I can calculate the profit.
I tried copying the suprnova file in the pool directory. I have edited the api url and coin symbol but the amount of confirmed coins is not shown. This knowledge will help me to add another pool and coins that have just been released
Thanks.

Benchmarked speed is always 95% of max speed to compesate start time, rejects, etc
OK, I understand. It is a bit confusing to see lower than expected hash rate. Perhaps you could move the reduction to the hash-BTC column? Can you add Claymore's CryptoNote GPU Miner v9.7 and xmr-stak-amd for AMD and xmr-stak-nvidia for NVIDIA? They are more profitable than ccminer/sgminer, especially when tweaked right.

30 hours ago I started my own test of HR vs Nicehash vs zpool vs MPH(auto exchange to BTC) vs Ethermine(just ether). Put 5 rigs each 4x1070 clocked exactlye the same with locked voltage on 0.900v, 1797mhz and 4400 mem. So 30 hours after the start: Hash Rafinery: 0.00201 BTC Nicehash: 0.00223869 BTC zpool: - got too many times API down and no mining and had to stop mining on it. at the time of the stopping(10 hours after the start) it was like 15-20% behind HAsh rafinery. Honestly this site has bad reviews and i got bad experience with it for the last 30 hours. MPH: 0.00181131 BTC + some not exchanged yet coins - https://vgy.me/UVopzn.png . I think its on par or little ahead of Nicehash, but i will know once i stop the race and wait everything to be exchanged. Ethermine: 0.02778 ETH which on exchange rate right now(0.075) is 0.00208 BTC, on the exchange rate from last night(0.080) is 0.00222 BTC Wow, great comparison, I think 30 hours is low to get conclusions. Luck is a primary factor on mining. Zpool: It has problems days ago, admin is out home and cant resolve, and also is "controversial" pool. MPH: It has changed api refresh to 30 minutes and this can affect profit with autoswitch HR: too small, luck is primary factor then. NH: surprise, when I have tested always is a 10-20% under rest.

@tutulfo, any chance adding a config value for do not change algo unless there is one at least 15%(1.15 example) more profitable? This will prevent script to jump coins too frequently.
Also i find it more useful to have selectable algos in the bat file instead of coins...
Problem of that variable is you can be mine forever a less profitable coin. I think 600 sec interval is enough to not getting too frequently changes. Bat file has two params, one for filter coins and other for filter algos.

Cryptonote (from git) works, but it needs the same hashrate reporting fix as ClaymoreZEC (divide by 1000) xmr-stak-amd from my experience gives almost the same hash rate as Claymore

I would be fine mining the less profitable coin forever in theory. Also a question, i heard that for example Zpool brings 20% or so less then shown in your miner because of exchanging to btc and NH brings the exact amount shown. Wouldnt it be better to calculate that in your miner too when deciding what to mine?

Do you know why Maxcoin does not exchanging ? It`s on autoexchange and stay on credited then i press the button to go on exchange and now is like in picture for more than 6-7 hours Maxccoin only autoexchanges for me when i set to trade to Bitcoin , not Ethereum Perhaps its related to the markets available on the exchange ?

Perhaps the better way is to add a "modifier" in config.txt for each pool - one that modifies the profitability from each pool so we can skew our preference to reflect our perception of the pricing - or any other reason - then Megaminer doesn't need to make what is a subjective decision

Seems to dual-triple window under benchmark only if chrome browser working... And claymore in dual mode only... After a few minutes of benchmark i see blinking screen, then in chrome browser i can see a message "Oops...webGL interface was disabled.Enable?" After that claymore can't closing and multiple errors on the screen and the next start claymore miner opens in new window.

and tutulfo any pointers on where i need to look to change the EUR profits to GBP?
cheers!
Great, added both options to next release, I will upload files to github if you want to try GB location

Why does whattomine.com differ so much from Megaminer?
Whattomine.com, with all my hash rates put in, shows that Diamond (Groestl) DMD, is the most profitable, followed by Zcash (ZEC), Zencash (ZEN), Hush, and Signatum. Using Megaminer, it says Blake2s, Veltor, Neoscrypt and X17 are the most profitable. Equihash is way down on the list.
Also, makes no difference if I switch to 24 hour mode either.
I'm not sure which one to trust.

Have you selected current profit on whattomine web?
You are correct. The numbers are closer when I chose 24 hours on whattomine for both difficulty and profitability. They are close enough for a margin of error. The question is though, what is better, just Automatic or Automatic 24 hour?
