When can i see my BCC from Blockchain.info

Hello everyone
i have arround 5 Bitcoin on blockchain.info
I heard that i'll not be able to see the Bitcoin Cash on this wallet but i still own it and i will just have to use the private key from Blockchain on a BCC compatible wallet to use them.
1- Is this true ?
2- Which BCC compatible wallets are avilable ? or there is none available yet ?

Yes. Since you control the private keys on a blockchain.info wallet, you can extract the private keys and import them into a Bcash-compatible wallet. One such wallet is Bitcoin ABC (bitcoinabc.org/). There is another that was called Electrum Cash, but I think they may have changed the name, since they were infringing on Electrum's trademark.

The network is still quite slow, since difficulty hasn't adjusted and the hash rate is comparatively low vs. the original chain.

He is talking about the private key of each address that may contain any coins.


You can do a few "hacks" to get the private keys of your address on Blockchain.

The following method[1] allows you to export your private keys direct from the address you are looking for on your Blockchain wallet.

BitcoinABC | Full node. Will download the whole blockchain, may take some time and require space on your HD.

No it is completely different thing, main issue with blockchain.info wallet is that they don't share private key with you so you will not be able to claim those free BCC if blockchain.info themselves don't add this feature.

If OP is using the HD wallet of blockchain.info to store his bitcoins then you're correct. OP could still claim the bcc/bch if the bitcoins is stored from an imported address afaik blockchain would still let you export private keys but not on the hd one. My imported addresses from blockchain was from the legacy version of the wallet then it got moved as soon as I upgraded to the new version.

Maybe you mean the WIF format of private keys which the BC.infi wallet have export feature of private keys.

Of course he is using the new wallet of blockchain which is its HD wallet. If OP will use electruncash wallet mentioned by @piloder then its easy, just paste the 12 word seed there then you can get your BCC/BCH without gettings its private keys since blockchain and electruncash have the same format of wallets.
