Is there any specific meaning attached to the Cash part in Bitcoin Cash?   Or is this actually irrelevant?

Could it also be called Bitcoin Mash Potato?  Just wondering cuz it seems rather random to me

I still don't understand why this is called Bitcoin Cash. Seems 100% random? Please explain!
