Lol.  I don't think that's viable.  What platform are you gonna use?  Ethereum?  Good luck.

Anyway, I don't like the model the Snix Poker guys are doing.  It's like another scam ICO brewing here.  Why not have a working poker site first then operate that for two to three years then organize an ICO for expansion purposes?

I mean who are these guys and are they to be trusted?
I already brought up Virtue Poker and it's built on Ethereum. I guess, "good luck" to me and others that want this to happen. There's a video available to explain the basic concepts which are pretty intriguing. "A P2P Decentralized Poker Platform Built on Ethereum". They just released the whitepaper, too.
Perhaps starting up a poker site is expensive, by the way. You could have the entire website worked out and still be missing one thing left to jumpstart it: funds.

Who knows? Decentralized poker is a big dream of mine. I would love to see it come to fruition.

With 1% rake and 1BB cap I would definitely play there. But low rake alone don't bring in loosing players, and with low rake you need huge volume to become profitable. Anyway, I hope you succeed.
I think a decentralized poker system will bring in tons of players, good and bad. Besides, is it not often the fish that complain the software providers are rigging the deck, cheating against them?

All demographics should be satisfied with something that is trustless.

I understand your doubts - it feels like 99% of all ICOs are kind of scam or nonsens in theses times atm.
But like i sayed, this is a bit different.
Also we use a very known and trusted escrow service here.
And "these guys" are for example

Decoded - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=523317
buwaytress - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=901859
Avirunes - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=175302

and more. Feel free to ask them.

I know this whole project (which is at least in a very early stage) may don't fit into your minds, but pls don't make any scam associations without any real fact.

I invite you to control the comming project, make your checks and reviews and follow us on this way. We allways open for any control mechanism to avoid any scam associations in the future.

I also can talk with you about this on a private way - feel free to contact me any time, i would be glad, if you maybe change your mind.

These threads are the first teasers with infos about this project, like i sayed we still in a quite early organisation stage. We will realize the concept step by step with recent news and updates on a official dev log.

And after we see the interest if the non crypto poker communitym we decided to do it in a bigger way as it was planned first.

To answer a PM question: Are there any blockchain related features?

Yes - SniXPoker will be running the shuffling and handhistory on a blockchain based system. This will bring a new kind of trust into the game and service at all. Every hand will be saved forever and 3rd partys are able to check and control the system.

How you will realize this??
If your platform get a real traffic, even compressed 10-20K hands per minute is a huge volume for blockchain saving.
And saving is one thing, but fair RNG is another.

We talk about a total investment cap of 40.000.000$ crowdfundings - sure it's not easy and fast to realize.

Still... I'm not asking how much money do you want to collect.

I was asking about the technical part.

Let's look at this situation: Your platform is getting traffic and you are dealing 10K hand every minute. Which is significantly less than Stars for example.

10K hands x 0.5KB each on average (inch shuffling) = 5000K ~ 5MB every minute x 1440 minutes per day = 7.2GB data daily! Even compressed to let's say 0.5-1GB daily, who will support such a chain?

This will be not decentralized, you can't see this like a chain you know yet. Every player act as a confirmer of each hand. This part is not finish yet, so i can't give you a final answer. I think there will come more problems nobody will expect and each one will opend discussed with the community and ends with a solution.

Hold the Bankroll decentral is NOT the plan, don't compare us with other projects. On SniXPoker your decentraled options are buying tournement tickets on other services incl. instant cashouts of potential winnings.

There is no money moving live on a blockchain - sorry if i don't make it clear until now.

Raising up a poker room need s a lot of work.  This project will need time and a lot of support from the community

This will not be a decentral P2P poker blockchain! The Chain will work for hand histories and shuffling mechanisms.
The real money will be hold safe and cold.
But it will be able to cash in or join tournements decentral.

We are at a early point of this project, first public anncouncements are done. The whole devlopment will take it's time - we create a software from 0.

We waant to build up this new brand with the help of the poker community (at least some team members are also poker pros with a lot of experience and knowlage).
For what kind of help are you looking specifically?

I am for example a legal expert in regards to online gambling, are you looking for something like this?

Deposit and withdrawal method only crypto coins?

I'm sorry. But you have to understand, that we can't work with someone getting these kind of feedbacks.
Thanks!
Your statement shows that you are currently clueless in regards to legal things, as a legal advisor works in the background and publicly made defamations about him are irrelevant.

As you look for a lot of money to invest while you are clueless about legal things, I wish everyone good luck!

Thanks for your advise. But pls understand that this project is fouded by poker pros who are inside this buisness for at least 10 years. U maybe don't understand the concept. We do not talk about an online casino. We do not compare poker with casinos. Thats the different. Thanks for your interest, but we don't need any help.

If the poker pros who will found this project are already inside the online gambling business for at least 10 years, why do you ask the community for help then?

U maybe don't understand the concept.
Feel free to explain it?

We do not talk about an online casino
So it will be a brick and mortar poker room?

We do not compare poker with casinos. Thats the different.
You compare poker with what?

Ask me what you want to know - it's pretty much at least. This is why i open this thread.

No - online, but no casino.

You compare poker with what?

Sport.

(No offensive. Sorry.)
I did not offer my help! (No offensive. Sorry.)

If the poker pros who will found this project are already inside the online gambling business for at least 10 years, why do you ask the community for help then?

Help from the community to support this project. Not help from any services or someone else. Sorry for missunderstanding.
You are clueless in regards to legal things and business plans, but you do not look for help (In god we trust?).

So I understood you are looking only for help from the community to fund the project?

So it will be a brick and mortar poker room?

No - online, but no casino.
Do you speak about online poker?

I don't really understand your problem, you change the words.
I'm looking for poker players who want to follow and support this project.
I don't know why you think we are clueless in regards to legal things, why do you think that?
Yes i'm speaking about online poker - and i'm pretty sure the most of our team got more experience than you or your service, this is why we don't need your help. Not more. Pls, stop this discussion.
Feel free to ask what you want about the software, system and concept.
This thread is about these points, Q&A.

I have no problem, which words did I change?

I'm looking for poker players who want to follow and support this project.
This thread has meanwhile 2 pages and you were not able to tell us for what kind of help are you looking?

I don't know why you think we are clueless in regards to legal things, why do you think that?
If you are an expert for something, then you can easily see if someone else is not.

You informed us that some team members are also poker pros, but poker pros are not legal pros or business economist pros.

Yes i'm speaking about online poker - and i'm pretty sure the most of our team got more experience than you or your service, this is why we don't need your help.
I did not offer my help and honestly, I have no interest at all to support your project.

You are pretty sure that most of your poker pros got more experience about online gaming consumer protection service then I got?

Not more. Pls, stop this discussion.
Your statement is in contradiction to "Feel free to ask what you want about the software, system and concept".

Feel free to ask what you want about the software, system and concept. This thread is about these points, Q&A.
I asked several questions that are still unanswered, for example, for what kind of help are you looking from the community?

I have noticed that you make posts and later you delete and repost them to have your thread again in the higher ranks!

You are obviously incompetent in regards to organizing an online gambling project.

We talk about a total investment cap of 40.000.000$ crowdfundings - sure it's not easy and fast to realize.

Really? 40 000 000?
I'm sorry, but I can not wish you luck.
And that's why.
I'm sure that your idea is wrong.
I do not know what experience you have in poker online, I have it. I've been working on gambling for many years. And you know what I realized? Poker, and any gambling need a moderator. A judge is always necessary, the decision of which everyone accepts.
I see your ISO plan suspicious.
Nothing personal. Show us it works, and we will change their minds. Wink

Thanks. Sure we want people follow and check us. Like i said it's quite different to a normal online pokerroom so you can't compare any online casinos with this project.
I understand any doubts. But pls understand these are the first early public steps. Soon, you will change your mind for sure.

Stay in touch.

To "kill" Pokerstars and devlopment a software like this isn't a small project.
100% of all funds go to escrow and this will make sure, that 100% goes into devlopment and building up the product.
