I agree, Bitcoin Cash is a great thing, so don't sell it, keep it as insurance.

If you buy a nice car you buy insurance for peace of mind. If you don't make a claim you're good , you didn't have an accident, and if you do make a claim, it means you had an accident, but it doesn't cost you as you have insurance.

I would rather agree with this. Bitcoin was not in big danger on 08/01. Segwit is a soft fork, so it was meant not to result in a split of bitcoin. Some people thought it might be a great idea to create bitcoin cash in advance, so that in hard fork case we already have a solution. Segwit was successfully implemented, so no bch should have appeared. But why not to make a hard fork anyway as we see many people wanting to buy our backup plan currency? And so they did it. And got lots of money. However, as people will see that bitcoin is doing just fine and as it will start growing in price, people will dump this version of bitcoin. So, lots will lose their money again. Nothing good here.

I surely appreciate the free money, and will also appreciate the free money from Bitcoin2X or whatever, when they fork in a few months, but creating more money out of thin air can hardly be called "the best thing that ever happened to Bitcoin", it's just another altcoin and there's no point to it, Litecoin same code as Bitcoin and bigger blocks, plus without spam attacks blocks aren't even full...

The US government has already passed legislation. You now owe capitial gains tax on any profit from cypto. This includes cypto earned from mining, increase in value from cypto you are holding, profit  from trading and oh ya that shitty bitcoincash you now have. You owe taxes on 100% of that.

Are you all blind folks? BCH price (and marketcap) is not real at all. Only those who kept their BTC on exchange that support BCH have tradable BCH, so not too many. And on the other side, all other that have BCC in their hand and are looking to dump can't, because mining is really slow (difficulty readjusting) so blocks transaction will take some time to confirm (a couple of days).

Look it back in the next couple week, and it will fall like a rock. Under top 25.

An interesting opinion, but I think the BCC is not air anytime, many big exchanges have supported this coin and the price is also high, which means its value has been accepted by many investors.

even if we ignore all the problems that increasing the block size that ridiculously big there is still a pretty big issue here and that is the people who created this!

we already know Craig Wright's long term actions that started months ago to first introduce himself as Satoshi (a big lie) and then to creep in bitcoin and try to take some power with this fork. a big scam and shady actions.
then there are a couple of more characters such as Hearn and Wu,... that have been shady all along.

i personally wouldn't trust a project that comes out of these people. i prefer an altcoin over it.
