The grue lurks in the darkest places of the earth. Its favorite diet is adventurers, but its insatiable appetite is tempered by its fear of light. No grue has ever been seen by the light of day, and few have survived its fearsome jaws to tell the tale.

    After Downloading:
    • 1. Unzip USDe.zip, launch the USDe.exe file, wait for the wallet to synchronize and you are good to go!  If you want to solo mine, minimize the wallet and follow the next steps!
    • 2. Using Notepad, open the file usde.conf in the unzipped USDe folder and update it to reflect your own favorite, but complex username & password
    • 3. Copy the modified usde.conf file to %appdata%\USDE (C:\Users\User\AppData\Roaming)
    • 4. Close & re-launch the USDe Wallet (USDe.exe)
    • 5. Wallet should now sync up with the network and you can start solo mining with your favorite mining software!

    Solo Mining Information
    Sample USDE.conf:
    [/list]
    Code:
    listen=1
    daemon=1
    server=1
    rpcuser=**Username**
    rpcpassword=**Password**
    addnode=node3.whiterockserver.com
    addnode=node2.whiterockserver.com
    addnode=node1.whiterockserver.com
    addnode=node3.whiterockserver.com:54448
    addnode=node2.whiterockserver.com:54448
    addnode=node1.whiterockserver.com:54444
    addnode=node1.whiterockserver.com:54448
    addnode=node1.whiterockserver.com:54449
    addnode=45.56.115.51:54449
    addnode=82.26.148.253:54449
    addnode=51.254.45.117:55874
    addnode=85.175.218.53:1646
    addnode=42.117.125.181:61483
    addnode=80.14.183.25:59091
    addnode=79.112.54.86:58542
    addnode=192.99.13.67:43027
    addnode=192.99.8.126:60084
    addnode=45.79.195.108:51134
    addnode=47.184.145.241
    seednode=node.whiterockserver.com

    Generally, for SOLO mining what you would do as long as your updated USDE.conf file is in %appdata%\usde folder and has your own unique username and password, is launch your CGMINER from a Windows batch file as follows:

    Code:
    cgminer.exe --scrypt -o http://127.0.0.1:54448 -u yourusernamefrom_usde.conf -p yourpasswordfrom_usde.conf -I 13 (followed by your GPU specific settings)

    Already on block 780,000?  How big was the premine??

    Edit: or is this not a new currency?

    Edit 2: My mistake, it's not a new currency.  I understand why you're making a new thread, but should probably explain that in your ANN.  Good luck!

    This coin was created in 2014, after being listed on various exchanges like mintpal, cryptsy and poloniex many of the coins were lost.
    Since June some of the users who initially were on board we decided to try and revive this coin. We have a new team behind us, new updates coming along the way.

    It's the same coin, but because the initial developer is missing, last heard from him was in 2015 we decided to start a new Ann where we can control the first post so that users can find out the latest information

    We will explain on the way, we will post also on the old thread.

    We are working on the block explorer to find out how many coins were lost on mintpal and other exchanges.

    Do you still have your wallet.dat file?

    P.S. We're glad to see users that still holds USDE from the early days. This coin had a great community behind. We hope that we can become great again. USDE was traded on all major exchanges at that time.

    I'm still hodling my USDE. I've always like the message behind the coin. The U.S. dollar was originally a great currency but as it inflated and lost its gold pairing it became a monstrosity.

    Here's an old promo video for USDE

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0z9FhcScfWY

    BitcoinTalk is a highly censored cesspool primarily serving as a vehicle to operate scams.
    Pointing out truth or straying from the promoted narrative will be met with shills spouting non sequiturs.
    Trust ratings are meaningless as those who control them are not worthy of trust.

    I'm using http://pool.whiterockserver.com but it does not work well. And already block 1561702 and by itself rejected.
    what am I doing wrong?

    The pool is working fine

    Block   Status   Time   Amount
    1561807   Pending   2 minutes ago   1.95313
    1561805   Pending   3 minutes ago   1.95313
    1561804   Pending   6 minutes ago   1.95313
    1561802   Pending   8 minutes ago   1.95313
    1561800   Pending   10 minutes ago   1.95313

    This is not an a new coin. It was initially launched in 2014.

    We are currently working on a block explorer, still having some issues but hopefully it will be live.
